I got what Heavenfall got AND what Winnihym got, where do I go to receive free healthcare for life? I'm pretty sure it's because I'm running a GTX580 and not the newest, fastest card on the market that would have prevented this. In all seriousness, I CAN. NOT. WAIT. to get cancer by playing this game. Could 2012 be the year of Stardock's resurrection/vindication? I sure hope so. I'm pulling for you guys.

Super excited to see what FE is all about. I was in the the WOM beta REALLY early, so I'm hoping that means that I get access to FE early! BRING IT ON, STARDOCK! I'll need something after my Skyrim addiction to get excited about, haha!
After? Ah, boo! I see that Anno 2070 is out. Do you have it? If so, is it any good? I liked the demo, but didn't like the mission structure/story. It has the sandbox mode, right? Skyrim is consuming me at the moment, anyway. Have some ~40 hours in to it already. Doesn't meant I wouldn't like me some Fallen Enchantress, though.
I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to know if the beta for FE is still slated to begin around Thanksgiving (i.e. soon). Would you please provide us an update? Bitte? S'il vous plait? Por favor? Pozhaluista? Alstublieft? Alright, you get the point. I (we) really want to know. Please.

I don't think it's like any of those analogies, really. I'm just saying that they should give WOM some of what makes FE a better game. I'm not saying ALL of it, just the things like UI, champions, world variety, etc. That shouldn't be THAT hard to do and I wouldn't see it do anything but make the game BETTER.
I tried searching for the answer to this by reading your posts, but could not find one, and my curiosity is killing me. Why, if Fallen Enchantress REALLY is a much better product than WOM, do you not begin incorporating some of the better mechanics/graphics/UI from FE in to WOM? From what's been said by Derek, even just adding FE's new UI would be a significant improvement. This would be obvious, easy way to improve the experience, no?

Love it. This would add a lot to Elemental. It could still include some resources, but they wouldn't be as important to finding a city, just an added bonus if you found em. Great post!

And I agree, Diplomacy could really use a kicker. That, and character development. Skills or skill trees would be awesome. Oh, and making the dynasty system better. Or making the factions more varied/different. (Or giving me Orcs, Elves, Undead, or other similarly drastically different factions.) Ooh, the possibilities. Could you imagine factions as varied and cool looking as those from FFH? That's part of the excitement for me in FFH, just meeting the different factions

FrogBrad, I think it's as ready as it will get. I've played this whole weekend so far (5+ hours), and I haven't had a single crash. 1.1 is significantly better than 1.09, warts and all. If you're trying to simply gauge whether 1.1 is ready as is, then yes, it is very stable for me and many others. Bring on 1.2!!!
Mr. FrogBrad, your game is most certainly leaps and bounds better than it was on release. However, the pop up screens blitzkrieg, the daring strike children, and the insane number of spiderling groups in a normal game still detract from the serious progress you've made. Also, the "found city/kingdom" animation is still being blocked by the initial build screen and I still dislike that shields block my entire characters body in the equip screen.
