So I created a regular Dock. However, you cannot 'Reserve Edge of Screen' with it, thus the applications just hide underneath the dock, which is not acceptable to me. I use a little app called Sizer to control the size of windows, and the area they occupy. It's free..... Sizer <

but it could be just me, that the story's subtitle makes the tone of the piece fairly clear That, and the closing sentence.......... I think Symantec wins the "Obvious Observation" award today for their stunning revelation
I've downloaded the program to check it out. Sure enough, 4 icons appear in the ObjectDock systray. Open the Options dialog, and 3 more appear. But.... In Options > Appearance > Skin, I selected "Override Skin theme with Window System theme", and restarted MediaMonkey. Only 1 icon appears in the systray dock now. So, the extra icons must have something to do with the skinning engine in MM.
Symantec also observes that water is wet, fire is warm, and that a brick is hard I knew that..... no, really I did!
Will we ever have the option to SKIN the system icon in WB5? I'm still disappointed with the features that have been lost with per-pixel borders.... skinning the system icon, and having an On Top button are the 2 items I miss the most. *sigh*
And you given no clue as to what type of skin you've downloaded..... At the top of each library, you'll find links to download the software needed to use the skins (for that library). WindowBlinds skins need the WindowBlinds program, for example.
I'm with you Phoon.... I don't get it.
Are you using Opera? I have to use Firefox, or IE(ick) to upload.
a. Will windowblinds extend its skinability to the windows on the added monitor? Yes. b. Can I use gadgets on the new monitor? Yes c Will the Object Dock standard bar extend itself to the new monitor? No. Plus has dual monitor support. d. Can I use Sysmetrix on the new monitor? Not sure. (probably yes) e. Does IconX have support for Dual display? Yes. f. A friend recommended a program called ultramon, which can create a new taskbar
You're welcome.
Docklets? Docklets are mini-applications used in the OD program. the Wheather docklet for example. But I don't think that's what you're looking for. In the ObjectDock directory you'll find several folders... Backgrounds, Docklets, Themes, as well as image folders. Your docklets are in the Docklets folder. Themes is where you'll find any of your setups, provided you've saved them. One more place to look for things related to ObjectDock is... C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME
The DesktopX Developers Guide should be HERE but all I get at the moment is a blank page. The difference between widgets, and gadgets..... Widgets can be created with DX Standard. DX must be installed on the system (but doesn't have to be 'running') in order for it to be used. Gadgets can be created with DX Pro, and can be used on any system. DX does not need to be installed. Continuous Ink System?
But 150$ is starting to get a bit pricey, so a third subscription isn't looking likely until there are some new features that justify the additional 50$ above the 100 I have already spent. The original subscription is $50, but renewals are $35.
How do I save it as a .jpg file? Apply the logon, hit Prt Scr, login, paste as new image in graphics program, save as jpg.
....somebody call me? eh-hem..... he said, NO odd characters...
This is what you need..... rainlendar Get skins for it, in the Rainlander library.
Assuming you mean the Vista Style docks by WebGizmos, all you need to is extract all the contents to the ObjectDock(Plus)/Backgrounds folder. Then you can select the dock in the Appearance section of Dock Properties. Technically, those are not "Themes", they are Docks.
I answered him in #37 #37 has nothing to do with the question asked in #35. but it's still disappearing when something is loading on Start Up Download <a href="http://members.lycos.co.u

I'm not sure where to post this since there's no sub-forum for Logons LogonStudio Forums Sorry, I don't know what causes this. I've seen it reported several times, but I don't think I
Yeah, I'd do as Bichur suggests. I really have no idea how to set them up to run as keyboard shortcuts. These are just tips I've collected from various comments, and saved to share with others.
"Show Desktop" does not minimize anything. What really happens is a full screen, borderless, explorer window, opens on top of everything. You can use. Winkey + M to minimize all Winkey + shift + M to restore all Or Copy and paste the following into a text file and save it as ShowDesktop.vbs. Then create a new shortcut linked to this file. Set Shell = CreateObject ("Shell.Application") Shell.MinimizeAll Set Shell = Nothing and<br/
ObjectDock Properties > Advanced Options > "When shortcut is run, if program is already running, bring it to the foreground only." Disable that. OR Right click the icon, and select Open.
