Didn't read the faq did ya? WindowBlinds can't skin the start menu/taskbar area if you're not running XP. But you can use Objectbar to skin them, and imulate the XP stuff.

From the help file in WindowBlinds.... Windows 98/ME/2000: A Skins tab has been added to Display Properties. Use the Windows and buttons dropdown to select a skin to apply. The WindowBlinds button will take you to the Advanced Configuration window and allow you to adjust additional settings (like which controls are skinned, performance optimizations, and excluded applications). The Advanced button lets you configure font and color settings for the current skin. Window

WOM... Level 3: Object Desktop / Stardock customer / Elite User. These users get all the benefits of a registered user plus the ability to rate skins and can download an unlimited amount of content. Grog... Did I not say that clearly enough?

If it worked you should have the ability to rate already. You might need to logoff and back on, or even delete WC cookies, close browser, and reopen........that sort of stuff.

I can't seem to locate the info on what determines the mouseover color in the XP Start menu.............. and to add to my confusion it sometimes changes when I reload the skin. What am I missing here?
