Bryan my friend, you will be missed. I hope things get better for you. ~Best Wishes~
What's checkBox1 in the Prefs do? PurrBall, I think that's the 'Show prerelease (Alpha/Beta) versions'
Nope, that's the first checkbox. The fourth checkbox is labeled checkbox1 :d /me is hesitant to check it........
I noticed we now have the ability to Archive. Right click an app, and select "Archive Application". But the archives are 0 bytes. We also have a History link! :CONGRAT:
Besides cross updating applications seemingly one not knowing the other has updated the application already (other = SDC). I use Kaspersky Internet Security Suite and it yells like crazy when I run impulse. PASSWORD-PROTECTED.EXE seems to be what it yells about and keeps telling me a new variant of the virus has been detected. This continues for about 5 minutes then settles down till I use it again. I tried everything on my end adding it to the trusted zone etc. I skimmed through
Welcome to the liberal world. The leftists don't do anything to actually solve a problem, they just do things to make each other "feel" good about something, even though it doesn't actually help.
The real problem is, their 'feel good' agendas almost always make things worse. All this global-warming/climate-change hoax, is really about growing government, and controlling our lives. Don't think it's a hoax? Give this an objective read. <a href="http://www
ObjectDock Properties > Miscellaneous Options > "Automatically activate mouseovered tab when using autohidden tabbed docks"
SDC = installation maintenance program (it only installs and updates Stardock programs) You would launch the programs from their Start Menu folder.........
Lantec... highlight a program in SDC, look at the bottom right, there are 3 buttons; RUN .. Update .. Uninstall ;) or in Zubish rnu .. udptea .. uinstlla ;p
T E S T using Opera I'm security conscious also, but deleteing cookies constantly is overkill, IMHO. And here at WC, cookies are used to keep track of preferences, like that Navbar setting. That's one of the things I love about Opera.... right click the page, select Site Preferences, and I have a number of options (including cookie handling) I can set for that site. :CONGRAT:
I'll try to update the Wiki article.
TRY? ...... Make it so, woman! :p /me runs~~~~~~~~~~
I seriously wish they would move these folders back to where they were in the first place to remedy this problem. Agreed.
+1.
Here's what I mean by Impulse is sluggish....... Not only is Impulse slow to respond to mouse clicks, but I noticed a new ObjectDock Plus update.... 22MB, so I timed the download with a stopwatch timer. I made sure nothing else was downloading during the OD+ Update. Download Starting: 2 minutes Connecting: gave up watching at the 17:30 mark, and left the room When I returned to my desk, download was at 38%: 21 minutes Download finished: 31:26 31+ minut
Philly; you want a simple IRC client, try this one Talkative
No, but there is a Docklet available that does....... Stacks Docklet
Right click dock > Add > New 'Toggle Autohide' Entry. Right click new entry on dock > Dock Entry Properties > in the Command dropdown list, change to Toggle hide taskbar. Took me a bit to figure this out, as it is not obvious.
What is currently available is very close to the final release.
Well that's discouraging to hear. Impulse is so sluggish I feel like I'm back on my old PII 450Mhz machine, with dialup...........
At this time we would like to ask that users of Impulse to use Impulse exclusively going forward. Only use SDC as a workaround if we cannot solve an issue in a timely fashion for you. Otherwise, Impulse should be your only installer going forward.[/
Americans are insane.... i mean bush as president!?!?...
Oh we're even crazier than that............ to think we would even consider letting the Clintons back in. :SURPRISED: I know what fluff is now, but I've never seen that brand.
SPAM (fried) with mustard
Try this sometime, it's great. Sliced spam dipped in egg, rolled in crumbled saltine crackers, then fried.
I do however have a nephew that'll make a sandwich with things like peanut butter, cheese, pickles and fluff.
I'm afraid to ask, but what the heck is 'fluff'?
Sandwich...peanut butter, grape jelly, and hard salami...toasted. Don't knock it till ya tried it
<br/
At least it wasn't a "FATAL" error..... I hate those. ;p
Didn't know OD did that........ it's been a very long time since I've seen OD crash. I doubt the contents would mean anything to me.
Well it just keeps crashing on me and make zip files of everything. I have a zip file if you would like to see it.
ObjectDock is creating zip files? Yes, I'd like to see one. Do you have any Docklets running, such as clock, calendar, weather.....? If yes, open an ObjectDock Properties dialog > Troubleshooting Options > check "Temporarily disable all docklets" > close, then restart OD. If that stops the crashing, enable the docklets, and remove them one at a time u
I sent a support e-mail in to stardock 5 days ago and I have not heard back from them
Give them a little more time. Stardock closed the offices Friday (3.21.2008), and won't be back until tomorrow (3.25.2008)
I am thinking, if you are recieving this message, Impulse is not gone. Delete that Impluse_setup.exe file and download another one.
As I have already stated, I had downloaded the file a total of three times to no avail..... But you are correct. Even though Impulse did not show in Add/Remove Programs, or 2 other uninstaller programs I use. Even though the Impulse folder in Program Files\Stardock was empty, and deleted. Even though I had deleted all references
How can I set up my objectdock, so that when I click on a docklet (i.e. Firefox) it will open the program, and if I click it while the program is open, it brings the open program to the front of all other windows?
You're talking about a shortcut... Docklets are mini-applications that run on the dock. Open an ObjectDock Properties dialog > Miscellaneous Options > General Miscellaneous Options > "When shortcut is run, if program is already running bring it to the f
Try Unistalling from the Add/Remove Software in the Control Panel in Windows. Then delete the executable and re-download.
There's nothing to uninstall, I've already done that. Re-downloaded twice, but no joy. All I get is maintenance operations, no option to install. If I choose Uninstall from the maintenance oprations, I get this........ "The Setup Wizard for Impulse has failed: "Fatal error during installation". Please check your settings and try again."<br
