It isn't all that much about how good the spelling is.... but about how lazy and inconsiderate the typist is towards his target audience. If it looks like the person couldn't give a toss about how well he communicates then I can't [equally] give a toss about caring to read/comprehend. You get as good as you give. Treat your respondents like crap and they'll walk..
And there you have it.

When "show prerelease versions" is unchecked, then you are shown the latest 'released' version. Is this an update to the latest beta? No. [edit] I see Lantec explained it much better than I, while I was trying to type it out......

Since you have a widescreen monitor, have you tried the "Reserve edge of screen" setting on the right side dock. This would prevent the browser from covering the dock. The dock would always be visible, and the scrollbar accessible.
It was the firewall all along. It was setup to allow FF through but whenever OD launched it, the firewall figured that something was up and blocked it.
Why didn't I think of that!? d'OH!!
The first time that you run od, there are a few docklets already there e.g My Computer, My Pictures, Internet, Email, Search Google, etc.
I see what you're talking about now. All but the Google item are shortcuts, not really docklets (even though they're listed in Docklets in the OD Properties dialog)................... confusing huh? ;) I'm sorry but I don't have a clue why this is happening to you. Never had this problem with OD Plus.
I di

Just thought of something you might try. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus\Settings.ini OptimizeDockForSpeed=1 If you can't see the Local Settings folder, go to Tools >Folder Options > View > enable "Show hidden files and folders"

Just tested it here, and I see no difference. One method is as fast as the other. Seems to be a few people having similar troubles lately, but long time users of ObjectDock aren't experiencing the issue.
Well, initially it was using the default internet docklet that comes with ObjectDock.
What docklet are you referring to? I'm not aware of any default internet docklet, or what it's for..... Opera is my default browser, but I do use Firefox at times. Never had a problem with either.
You could try another docklet created by a user that leverages The Weather Channel (www.weather.com).
I guess someone already has created one (or more) ;). My memory is getting bad.....................

Yes it works with WindowBlinds, but I'm not impressed. It places a button on the titlebar that shows 'sometimes', and when it does show. it's not pretty. You have to setup Hotkeys to use it. Bottom line....... it doesn't look all that 3D to me.

The common denominator seems to be AccuWeather, since CarGuy's screenshot doesn't show ObjectDock running at all. He appears to be using DX. I've never noticed the problem here. If you guys would list your locations so we could test them, we may be able to nail down where the problem is coming from.
How can i create something like the windows 'Start' docklet but for the rest of my shortcuts that are on the desktop
You could right click the dock > Add > New Shortcut > in the dialog that pops up > "Link" Desktop (from the drop down menu) > check "Show folder in a menu". (But that's not really a 'Docklet' Docklets are mini application that work on the dock).
is there a way to hide the windows desktop 'recycle bin
Other than right cl
When I download a new icon package for ObjectDock how do I get it to work with the dock?
IconPackages are for IconPackager, not ObjectDock. That said, any icon or PNG can be used with ObjectDock. Just follow Bebi's instructions. Sometimes IconPacks are in ICL format, and have to be converted before you can use them with OD.
I am using xphome sp2 fully patched and my defaulr browser is Opera. You can change the icon in the OD Plus systray by, left click and hold, or Ctrl + left click. To add a docklet, you simply extract the contents of the zip to Docklet folder. I've had the systray docklet working with Plus (didn't care for it, but it worked)

jive01... I have 3 docks in the top position (on dual monitors), and I checked them all to make sure. No problem here. Perhaps you should start a new thread, and we may be able to help you figure out what's causing this. Back on topic. The Stacks Docklet ROX!
