there is also the lvl 5 fortress specialization called "Onyx Throne" that will decrease the faction wide unrest by 30. So one lvl 5 fortress can counteract the unrest penalty of 10 cities. I really like this mechanic because it makes city specialization and city growth much more important.

Swarm does not kick in if you use a ranged or special attack/ability, only when using the standard right-click attack.

no, it could have not been said more diplomatically. Not in the slightest. Thinking it over, I was actually too diplomatic... I'm sorry, but anyone who honestly claims that a complex turn-based strategy game is "pretty much ruined" by the simple fact that combat animations are not as hip as in MMH6 deserves no diplomacy at all, not even the faint one from Legendary Heroes. Again, not because the AI is stupid, not because combat mechanics suck, not because city management is lackin

Perhaps because game companies want to *gasp* earn money? Did you honestly expect them to simply patch War of Magic for almost 3 years now without expecting some form of income in return. That they improve on the game just for the fun of it because they got nothing better to do? Fallen Enchantress was a very different game when it came out and completely warranted a price for the development it took. You could at least try to argue that the jump Legendary Heroes does is not as high, but I sti

if you prefer to get more beasts and creatures and don't really like regular troops, try playing with a sovereign that has the beastlord profession (Kulan or create your own one). With it you can tame wild beasts and build a nice little beast army. Pick Mage as a hero specialization and you can add more summoned creatures to the mix.

Using Steamworks solves numerous issues for developers and publishers that would be costly or difficult to solve on their own. In the same sense that we will, unfortunately, lose some customers when future titles are 64-bit only, we are going to have to live with the fact that not everyone will be willing to use Steam. Not really a grammar issue, but the tooltip for the Commander trait states: "Unlocks traits that improve economy and growth" Since the traits don't affect the growth of your cities and the second specialization besides economy is boosting the army the commander is in, it should read something like: "Unlocks traits that boost economy and army"

that is correct. Apart from finding loot in the world, everything else has to be bought for your champions in the shop once you unlocked it through your research, including horses and wargs. So you can give horses and wargs to your champions without even owning the resource, think of it like the traditional RPG market.
