How will multiplayer work? in War of Magic Elemental Forums

Anyone have any idea how multiplayer games will work? Will you need to finish the whole game in one sitting? Will there be a play by mail option? With the attention span of most people, I can see 90% of these games just being an all out rush. Most people, myself included, don't have 2 + hours to sit and play a turn based game.

Why play Kingdom when you have Empire Spy? in War of Magic Elemental Forums

To me it seems the most over powered aspect of the game currently is the Spy summoned creature. If multiplayer launches with this creature intact there would be no reason I would ever choose the Kingdom side. Think about it. It's a relatively easy creature to get and has an immediate AOE that does 10 dmg to everything. With the current health pools of the Champions you could easily take out 4-5 Champions AND the Sovereign within the first 2 combat turns. Ca

Do they let you return music or videos once you open them? You can't at Best Buy, you can't at Wal Mart. If I buy the Moody Blues Box set for $100 and I get home and I simply don't like the songs can I return the music? Small issue with health bars in War of Magic Stardock Forums

I don't know where to put this but I want to at least share one small complaint/issue I have. When involved in tactical combat the health bars at the bottom plus the integer value of your health update BEFORE the visual attack happens. This is somewhat of a let down knowing what the outcome is BEFORE the spell is cast or the sword is swung. I know it's just math and the result is the same regardless but I would at least like to enjoy the visual aspect of getting destro

My Feedback for 1.07 in War of Magic Stardock Forums

THANKS. my single biggest issue was the alt tab crashes. Turn based games are great to just leave up and running while you do some other stuff but constantly crashing was a bummer. I am happy to report after 20+ alt tabs I haven't had any crashes on my machine. Hurray. Also THANKS for speeding up the combat turns during tactical. They were VERY slow waiting for the opponent to counter or even waiting for your second attack.

Ok, first off I want to say I have been waiting for a game like this for a LONG time. I was an avid and rabid MoM player as well as other games such as Age of Wonders and to a lesser degree Gal Civ and Master or Orion. My friend (he is also a turn based game freak) told me about the game 1 week before release and of course I bought it on Release Day.
