Honestly, even if you're not going to be going SLi just yet you should probably consider getting a new video card simply because AGP is a dead technology at this point. If you buy a new mobo with AGP graphics you're only prolonging the amount of time you'll have to wait until you can upgrade your graphics card. All of the new cards are PCIEx and I hardly ever see video cards that are AGP. I personally have the NVidia 7950GX2 which is a single card SLi solution and I'm not really considering the

jelvis, One thing to keep in mind if you are new to RAID and RAID 0 in particular. Make sure you keep backups of ALL your important data. With a RAID 0 array any disk issues will result in the loss of ALL of your data on BOTH disks. There's no way to get the data back unless you are willing to spend the money to send it for professional recovery. Just something to keep in mind!!

Is there an AOL folder in Program Files? If not, it may not actually be installed. I know that sometimes when you click on the "Try AOL" icon on the desktop it actually installs the program. The only problem with that approach BigDogBigFeet, is that the only way to update the status of the object would be in a busy loop or by using a sleep statement that only sleeps for 1ms at a time, which would essentially turn into a busy loop. With Phoon's approach I'd imagine the System Performance Meter code registers itself as a listener for the requested event so it is notified of state changes by the OS as opposed to having to poll for changes.
