Well chances are you'll be waiting until tomorrow. Most people don't work on Sundays.

What IS the proper order for recycling the modem, router I don't know that this is the *proper* order but here's how I do it and it always works for me. 1) turn off computer, modem and router (this usually means unplugging the router) 2) turn on modem (wait for it to establish a connec
Well, I don't have kids and my fiancee and I have talked about it and we're not sure we want to have kids, but that's another story for another time. However, as a member of the planet earth (at times anyway) I do appreciate that parents like you take a stand against their kids at home in an attempt to teach them the difference between right and wrong and generally how to act in public. It seems that more and more lately parents just have kids and then
If she is looking to piggy back on her neighbors connection she's out of luck when it comes to the TX. If the neighbors router only supports G then she will not be able to connect with her TX that only supports B. If she is looking to buy her own wireless router and get a highspeed connection then there are routers out there that support B and G or ever A, B and G. I agree with you there Zubaz, if I had a neighbor that I knew who had an open
Yes, I believe you can install skins from the site, but none of the per-pixel support will work with those skins. As far as excluding apps do this: 1) In the WB Config dialog click the Per Application button 2) Click the Add per application setting button 3) find the exe you want to exclude 4) select the options on the subsequent dialog 5) Apply Note: The exclusion doesn't seem to take effect until t
Wow, that sounds odd at best?!? Maybe with the windowstate not set to maximize it allowed the screen saver to lose focus, which in turn caused it to stop drawing. But, with it maximized that may not happen.. Anyway, glad you worked it out!
I think if they were able to fit that much memory into such a small space, and it's in a working computer, there would be a whole lot more buzz about it. I find this whole thing very questionable. It's exactly this sort of thinking that made me scratch my head and really take a closer look. I mean th
Have you tried putting some break points in your code around the areas you think might be causing the problems? Do you have any logging you can use to trace through an execution to see where it's hanging? I know you've probably tried this stuff already but if I were to get the code and look at it this is the same thing myself or anyone else would have to do to track the problem down. Post some more info here and maybe everyone can help track it down.</
They did show up at CES in January Eh, *I* could show up at CES too if I wanted. All it takes is enough money to rent the space. This sort of reminds me of a laptop that I almost bought when I was looking around a couple years ago. The site claimed they had ultra slim line designs and all this fancy
WYSIWYG is a complete misnomer with respect to HTML editors. The best acronym that really hits close is WYSIWYKG or W hat Y ou S ee I s W hat Y ou K inda G et
Well, I've changed my nick recently simply because the one I chose a little over 3 years ago seemed a bit childish seeing as I'll hit the big 30 this year. I felt that f0r3 no longer fit, so I decided to go with Kevin, but someone else has apparently taken Kevin, which I find odd because I've never seem a Kevin but then again I guess maybe he's a customer who doesn't come to WC or JU. So, I settled on Kevin C. I'm not trying to escape anything but some
They are real 'cause pc world (in australia) mentioned them in one of their magazines not too long ago. Uh, no offense but there have been instances in the past of magazines and every other media on the planet getting caught up in something before they check the details.. I'm not saying that this is
Are you on a domain? If so, you can't use logons.
Did a little googling: http://www.portablegadgets.net/article/46/atom-chip-corporation-unveiled-68ghz-laptop http://www.highdots.net/hardware-chips/atom-chip-corporation-169663.html Wow, this one really makes you scratch your head... http://web.archive.org/web/20040527160143/http://atomchip.com/ http://www.dvorak.org/blog/?p=2742 Just to list a few... Dunno, seems really cool but it's just all
Don't think it has anything to do with your processor and everything to do with your mobo. From past discussions I've seen Bootskin is very dependent on certain functionality being available in the video sub-system provided by your BIOS. If your mobo does not provide the needed functions it simply will not work. Not really anything that can be done about it unless you feel like replacing your mobo.
I'll second that!
I don't think it''s real I agree with Mr. XX. I went to the site and looked around, their awards are for things like New Computer 2006 or something like that. If they truly had technology that jumped THAT far ahead of everyone else their name would be ALL over the place. Also, they have a long listin
Think Kol's strange world Wallpapers with paint, and different colors. (No, I didn't get my idea from him) Heeeeeeyyyyy... Didn't we cover this in another thread.. Just paint under construction on your laptop.. Heh, j/k. You'll have to post some pics wher you're done!
I've used WB in one form or another for several years and have never had any *major* problems. Ocassionally when I install the latest beta from OD.net I will have problems but it is typically fixed very quickly. I have had programs that don't like WB, but if you use the per application settings to keep the app from getting skinned everything works just fine, even if that app does end up looking like crap.. So, if you have tried the demo and it worked f
Think Stardock will mind if I 'borrow' the Wincustomize design? Who cares!! According to Gloss all you need to do is put some text on there that says 'under construction' and you're covered!! Problem solved, and you
Thread 1, Paris Hilton 0. But how does the site score? Maybe a .5 for not being a dirty ho but at the same time not being as cool as this thread?
Nope.. Directly from the ObjectBar page on https://www.stardock.com ObjectBar compatible with: Windows 98 Windows ME Windows 2000 Windows XP Wow, nice grammar there SD!
Try googling for Vista wallpapers or something. It might not be available as it is probably a wall that is supplied with Vista and not generally available. Then again it may be easy to find.
Why would I not properly configure it It was simply a suggestion. Next time maybe post that you already know everything and that you just wanted to complain in a public forum and that no one should try to help. </font
Sounds like an issue for the developer more than SD.. I would try contacting Tiggz as I believe he is the developer of the OMNI series of widgets. Also, if you that fails you could post the actual error messages so someone can try and help but wihtout that info it's hard to provide any help other than delete the widgets from your desktop and then re-import them.
