Kitkun, I didn't think you were the Command and Conquer type. I always thought of you as... "fox"-y. [e digicons][/e] She's going to kill me, isn't she? Well, to divert your attention, how about THIS ?!
especially as Advent where your LRF are weaker and harder to get.
That makes no sense at all. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Be careful you don't set it too far up, though. You don't want them to turn too fast. Then they just look stupid. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Copying an existing entity and editing it works, as long as you don't make an error while doing so. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
You could try the dev.exe. That will pinpoint the error. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
@RambosBodyguard: We need more users like you. Plain and simple. I can dream, can't I? [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Story goes beyond game (and plan for another expansion or sins 2), everybody is fighting their own little war and trying to get the advantage over the other but basically, it's going nowhere and everybody stays on the same level... But a threat arise forcing them to ally themselves against it... Introduction of new race coming from unknown part of the galaxy (if an extention was to made about it, it would imply a lot) Or the idea
I couldn't have said it better, myself, CanadaMan. Young people these days. So disrespectful... [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Will you please quit being so arrogant and rude? I do not appreciate nor tolerate disrespect, and besides, I (SNIPPED) my original post there. I said nothing offensive, and yet you still come after me. Don't you have anything better to do? I do. I have to recover from my skull-fracturing car crash and convince my wife and daughters that I'm not going to die. Stop being such a spoiled brat and leave well enough alone. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Souls_Stream, the second half of what you said was terrible. Plain and simple. Neither of my 8 year old daughters would fall for that. I too would buy a Sins book, providing it is actually readable and not just the same stuff repeated over and over in diffrent words. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
As much as I'd like to see a feature where you can make a planet uncolonizeable without playing as the TEC or using monkey-assed culture, realistically, the chances of us seeing it look something like this: Percentage: 0% Minimum Percentage: 0% Maximum Percentage: 0% [e digicons]x_x[/e]
As I said, I say we be grateful for what we have and live with it... [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] Although, I would like to know how to reduce the lag my game gets after an hour or so of play... [e digicons]x_x[/e]
fist0 is right. As to where that file is, I've forgotten. [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] Just felt like it.
(SNIP) OK, back on topic, does anyone else think the Revelation should be given something to give it a logical chance against capital ships? Black Out is nice, but it just delays the inevitable.
This is not a thread for Distant Stars. Please take your chatter elsewhere. I hate the idea of capital ships for pirates. I hate the idea of pirates in general. What I think it should be is kind of like Insurgency. Pirates just launch raids from out of galaxy to your planets and wind up at your planets, and like Insurgency, the planet they go to is random. Rebellion had better be worth all the hype. I still remember how disappointed my little brother was whe
Greg, you are aware that you can remove trade ships yourself? And still get the trade income?
Well, I just go by what I see/read.
I say we be grateful for what we have and live with it...
Ask DirtySanchezz, or go on when there are more people on. Of course, I don't play multiplayer, but from what Sanchezz has been saying it gets pretty bad.
I'd wait until multiplayer is less laggy before trying it, personally.
No offense to anyone, but some of you are just being blatantly disrespectful . If any of you lived in my house, I would not put up with this kind of stuff. As for the thread, does anyone else worry about the balance of Rebellion? The two new factions I think will either be seriously overpowered or underpowered.
The devs do a good job of squashing bugs when they find them. They won't abandon us. To answer your question, I have no idea. It depends on what you try to do. Some people just have issues, some don't. I am one of the unfortunate who have issues with mods and such, so I am a little biased for that, but at the same time, it's not THEIR fault. As long as your computer can run Sins, you should be fine.
Its a sin one person can get so much pleasure ruining a good community.
I agree with that 100%. I take it you didn't intend a pun, either?
Any way you look at it, playing as the Advent is going to be more challenging than playing as the other races. I hardly ever play as them, so the advice I can give you is limited, but here I go: 1: Forget about Harmony upgrades at the beginning. The Advent have the weakest fleet and they need it to be upgraded to have a remote chance against Double-Skirantra rushes and such. 2: Research Beams. Beams are the most powerful weapon of the Advent and are the weapon of the bombers.<
This may sound crazy, but after what Seleuceia said, I believe Yarlen. How laggy does it get online, anyway?
