Be careful how you disagree with Achillus he PM'd me and let me know he reported me twice for disagreeing with his idea.
Quoting MrStarTrek, reply 12 I agree to disagree. Logistics in place already does this. Logistics only limits the size of a fleet not how many ships total you can build.
Quoting Achillus, reply 8 More options is always better. As an option at the beginning of the game, would be better. That wat if you want it, its there. If not, then ignore it. <br
Sometimes I just want to play a small game with limited warships. This way every warship I have actually means something.
Than limit yourself and not everyone else.
Quoting MrStarTrek, reply 9 I just have few words to add to this thread: NO WAY!!!!! DUMB IDEA! NO LIMITS! Doesn't add to the discussion. Nice to know that there's actually a report
Quoting MrStarTrek, reply 9 I just have few words to add to this thread: NO WAY!!!!! DUMB IDEA! NO LIMITS! If its set on options then there is no need for this rhetoric. Personally I like it. Would I always use it? No
I just have few words to add to this thread: NO WAY!!!!! DUMB IDEA! NO LIMITS! EDIT: Logistics already determines the number of ships you can fleet. What your proposing adds a cap to a cap that is already in place. This is why I think it's a dumb idea.
Never posted before (but a longtime member!). But I have to! Holy cow these ship designs are absolutely fantastic! MrStarTrek - I'm a huge fan of your designs - stunning (guess it helps I'm also a Star Trek fan)! I can't wait for the steam workshop and I hope you publish them. Hamilmac - those are also very cool ships - I love dragons! I wish I could name everyone
I think its time to lock up this thread. Brad has already stated from yesterdays Dev's stream he is not going to nerf stacking sensors since he uses sensor boats himself. Now with that said I am unsubbing from this thread because it has now become a pointless debate
Why don't you answer his question... is that so hard. The quesion is not why starbases is in the game, it is why starbes sensors is in the game? Why not answer the actual question for once?
Listen here Mr. DENSE. I answered his question and once again you reject the answer I gave. Starbases whether or not the senors on them preform poorly are still an important part of the game for min
So, why are sensor upgrades for starbases in the game, if they are never a meaningful choice to begin with? Trick beginners?
Simply because Star bases are still an important part of the game whether or not you build a sensor ship.
The good news for us is that the modding capacity of this game is tremendous and with some dedication, all of us are going to play the personally perfect balanced game anyway. I really do not see the problem with increasing the range to
I am happy to come out for better sensors on star bases. I do not like leaving modules unbuilt because they are not worth the effort and star base sensors are worthless at this time. I think you should get 8-10 radius at the highest tech level.
I second that! Sensor ships are not the problem it's the star bases that are underpowered!!!!
