Well, you have moons in your sol pack, yes? Could just use those...but I haven't seen a download for Sol pack so only going by screenshots...
Oh yeah, I have moon/dwarf sized planets :) I thought you meant ones that used the same shading like the vanilla dwarf planet, that's what I tried doing :D
Thanks Seleuceia :D Yeah there have been "issues" with the particle effects, mainly because I didn't resize them together with the meshes, as you may have seen in my other thread, it's a b*tch to manually resize the particle effects .. :( I've noticed indeed some of the textures are not matching 100%, I think those were the vanilla textures, I'm thinking of replacing them completely. As for the nightlight, I'll add them in one of my next releases
Hmm thought so.. If I resize some of the .tga's that are used in animations/particles, do they appear smaller? Thx for the reply
As topic said, is there a quick way to make them smaller/bigger? (It's for Rebellion 1.03) :D
Released v0.97 on moddb: http://bit.ly/MZRiaX Please give me some feedback :)
I've got a .psd template that can "convert" these textures to regular maps (vanilla textures style) in 30 secs :)
Thanks man! :)
I like the idea for the nightlight, however I'll not be adding nightside textures to the mod to press filesize and memory usage :-) Also, notsure for the skyboxes, I didnt make them :D Added moddb and twitter links to the OP, check em out! :D
Loki, the volcanic planets of mine are not rendered as volcanic planets (renderAsVolcanic FALSE), you should check that out, that might be the problem? Also could be a colored skybox thing, try to toggle it off and on. Goa, yeah I've finally done all the icons, next up is the planet bonuses, and some minor adjustments to the entity files (pop-caps, resources, ...) and planet spawning :D I'll upload the most up to date version tomorrow for testing, sometimes I'
Found it, check OP :)
Update! (release soon to come) :) Icons done for non gas giant planets! 36 new normal planets + 6-8 new gas giants! 5 new planet types (Carbon, Hydrocarbon, Forest, Oceanic and Rock) The mod adds all these planets to the standard maps so there's more variation and all of them have been resized (larger)! @Loki I haven't heared about the memory leak with gravity wells, if someone can confirm? :D Also for using it in MP, I

Can anyone care to explain how I do this please? Thanks! Found it! :D remove character:
brush name "LoadScreenCharacterTech" content "Simple" fileNa
Uploaded a combined version of the mod on my dropbox folder, check out my downloads page: http://axeldude3.wordpress.com/downloads/ Contains: Core, Planets, Post FX, Skyboxes, Scaled units/structures :D
your stuff is awesome, and i have been messing around with the files in rebellion. (In Rebellion) all the standard texture files work other than the ones you added (because of the new entry files). i didn't notice a difference between the standard desert, terran, ice, and volcano mesh files and the core pack. the gas planet mesh i believe works fine if a re-size is what you where going for. the star mesh files however, made the star
Depends on what you are doing. They added in another planet type but I think with planets that is about all they did unless they also got the shadow effects added on as well.
Only adding more planet types, so I guess if it works with Diplomacy it'll work with Rebellion?
Only thing I still need to do is making icons for the added planets (I have to drag myself to my computer to make 'em lol), Sol and Default planets are all done. About 28*2 icons need to be made and then I'll release it for Diplomacy When I get Rebellion from steam I'll (try) and port it over. Are the changes from Diplomacy to Rebelion big?
Alright I'll try them both and see what happens! Thanks EDIT: Like you said it will not load the meshes beyond the 5th one. Also, changing the GS_... entry in the diplomacy.user file didn't work, guess I'll have to split the files :(
What happens when you use more than 6 entries? My game does not minidump when using more than 6.
Hi Guys, been getting back to Sins Modding and it's all getting together now, but I've a quick question: What is the limit of the "meshInfoCount" stat? I'm using it for adding more meshes to for example "PlanetTerran". Using the debug it gives me an error, but my game still works, the max I've used is "meshInfoCount 10" and that seems to work? Could someone clarify this please? :D

I'm almost at 50% of the game, and I must say it's really enjoyable. I've been reading some spoilers about the ending and alot of people raging because "they don't have a happy end", sorry but does every game need a happy end? IMO: no. Although, there are some plot holes in it, I still like it. (note I've not completed the game, only read/seen it on YT).
mbc58 If you edit it in regular notepad, use the "Save As" function to save your work and change the filetype from "(*.txt)" to all file types. Be sure the filename you use is "gameplay.constant". This should work :D
