The Z-axis, while realistic, creates gameplay issues. I play Sins for the gameplay, not for the realism. The Z-axis detracts from that, which is why I don't support it.

Agreed completely. I've never encountered 2face (or anyone else) doing that, but manual Z-axis control serves absolutely no sensible purpose except for unfair tactical exploits. It would be enough to just remove the Z-axis command.

If you play a single game for long enough, eventually there will be so much stuff for your computer to process that you'll start getting very severe lag, and if it's overwhelming enough the game might just freeze up entirely.

A few turrets can also help provide a safe haven for your fleet or ship(s), just like a stationary starbase. This can be very useful when, for instance, you're retreating with a heavily damaged capital ship and the enemy is pursuing (early-game). In addition to having repair platforms, you could also consider investing in a few turrets. 3 turrets alone will do 120 DPS - significantly more, actually, if they're firing on an Advent fleet, because Disciples (LF) are so weak to turrets. I think if you want a serious challenge throughout the beginning, middle, and end parts of a game you should try playing against humans. While the AI is generally very poor overall against a human who has some idea of what they're doing, the AI is also extremely poor in the late-game, regardless of difficulty level. Even if you could add a few more ships owned by an AI you could blow up, there wouldn't be much point. Seriously, try ICO (Ironclad Online, the Si

I'm not 100% sure about this but you should be able to install the game on as many computers as you like (even you're only supposed to use it on a maximum or 3 computers or something - not that that's enforced). The only limitation is that you can't be logged on to Sins Multiplayer (ICO) with more than one computer. On your first computer you installed it on, were you able to run the game? If so you should be able to follow the same procedure to get it to run

There are plenty of players (especially new players) who absolutely loathe how effective rushing in Sins already is. In most multiplayer games against decent opponents, you should be expecting to see your opponent start building up a large fleet to send to attack you as soon as possible - less than 5 minutes into the game, even. If you're looking for even more aggressive tactics I'm not sure what to tell you. Very low tech strategies are already a staple of competitiv

[quote quoting="post"]Today was going to be maybe my 5th ICO match. I logged in and was waiting ready to go, then something struck me as odd, all the teams quickly switched to team 10 and there was me and some other (I assume new player but idk) stuck on team 2 and team 5. I asked "what are we all going team 10?" only to be painted with a blue brush and that was the reason they were going to go that way. That COMPLETELY killed my interest to play sins today. You can't download plain patches in .exe's off the internet because there needs to be a way to verify that the person downloading it has actually bought the game. For Sins the solution is to register your serial number on what used to be Impulse and is now some Gamestop thing. It may be annoying for you, but it's the way the developers have made sure that pirates don't get the better of them.
