If this game is suppose to last 500-800 seasons, there's some rejigg'n that needs doin'. Okay, let's use those values to do some little math. A city needs 50 population to reach level 2. It could be a simple thing, like hovering your cursor over the settle and outpost buttons, it highlights the ZoC. Don't know if it's going to interact with other ZoC though....could make for some messy bugs.
AI just needs a few more smarts in this area. If AI detects ranged attack...or at the very least is hit by a ranged attack as the first attack, maybe AI should charge in...
Biggest ones I've experianced was the ctrl-N crash and the load game while in game crash.
Very interesting trick. I LIKE the collar. Still working at what is defined to be a 'beast'. Apparently slags don't count. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] [e digicons]XD[/e]
*** Unreleased *** Inspiration is +1 research instead of +1 per essence
awwww.....I was really liking my +4 inspiration spell on my capital early game. [e digicons]XD[/e] Only thing I would caution is that inspiration could become a dead spell mid-late game beacause other per essence spells become effectively better. Inspiration is one spell that would really benefit from a '+1 per city level' approach.
I've mentioned this before too...300gildar is way too much for some of these quests. Imo, the gold you get from these quests should be a bit less than twice the resale value of the item in question. (I say this without knowing the resale value of the doomclub and ignysbow, but I imagine for such an early level, both are in the realm of 50gildar.) Thus makes the gold reward around the 100gildar mark. Ignysbow is still too powerful. I hate to admit that cause it&#
And the init will never drop below 5...right?
I'll agree that there is a lot of good stuff added to beta 0.982. However, this has also been the beta with the most crashes I have ever had in one night.
You shouldn't be able to convert. The AI should make good choices that you then have to live with when you brutally murder their people and take over their city.
That would be the right way of having it done. I have yet to see a tbs game where the AI makes 'right' choices though...
[Crash] Ctrl-N once and the game crashed. Not a good start. [Bug] Built my capital city and ended turn. All of a sudden a Twilight Bees popped up beside my city. Out of nowhere!?! [Bug] Snaking to rivers and forests still doesn’t exist. It seems VERY silly that I cannot be allowed to snake to the river in this situation: http://imageshack.us/a/img715/2018/game11bugsnaking.jpg <
Still waiting to see the AI weigh in on this. Seems to me it picks randomly.
Agreed. I have raised my eyebrow at AI choices on more than one occasion. Problem is that I'm sure people out there raise their eyebrows at the choices I make. Kinda leads to the question: Should we be able to change the type of city that exists when we conquer it (as well as a conversion time)??
Depends what they expect to get out of the game. On normal map settings, are we looking at 1000 seasons? 500? Then on large map settings, is that relatively increased? Same goes for small. Can I finish a small map in 300 seasons? Combine that in with duration of gameplay; quick, normal, epic; and you have quite the variety to consider when attempting to balance a game. Part of me wants to finish the game I'm playing with Al
Not broken. Just boring.
[e digicons]k6[/e] Just like Tassadar's final fight to defeat the overload. Everything was crashing in on him. That's epic. That's FE.

Only thing that might be needed is a small buff to fortresses so that peo
Quoting Heavenfall, reply 137 One big problem, in my opinion, is how quick heroes regenerate life. Often I don't have to wait at all with the fighting until my hero is ready to go at full health. This regeneration for heroes could also be reduced ^Wonderful idea! Natural regeneration rate should be directly related to the number of troops in a unit - ie. 1 champion regens MUCH less
quoting post Stoneskin does 3 (+1 per air shard) in defense instead of 4+2 Per air shard?
Remove consulates
Agreed. This one I never understood. How does an outpost, a structure dependant on a 'mother' city, give growth to that city?? If it's giving growth, it should also have a queue....
In my last game, Verga had cast stoneskin on himself enough to have a defense of 80, 8-12 times. Later in the game I bumped into him again with a defense score of 60, he had stacked it 6-8 times. I found out that each hero with tireless march stacks. Was a fun find, but I'm not sure it is as planned. I played a game as Tarth, I would normally avoid them. With their movement bonus in rough terrain and the Enhanced Bows, I h
