Woohoo! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Starcandy
Thanks 2of3. Well as far as uploading them for others to use, I'll wait and see what they look like then post a picture of them and see what the community thinks of them. If the community feels they're good enough to upload, so be it. Would I need permission to show them in a screenshot? Does that count as uploading?
I'm about to start working on some Fett-esque drive icons (for the third time in as many days, because they're harder to make than I had anticipated), and I just realised that I might have to ask permission to make them in the first place. Will that be the case, or not? I'm not sure on this one. [e digicons]:S[/e] edit: Actually, I'm thinking that if the hard drives look okay(ish) I might make some folders to go with them. So would I be better off askin
I was reading an article on Download.com earlier about bogus certificates being created for, obviously, bogus sites. Would the services and add-ons you mention in this article help detect something like that. I would like to use WOT or something similar, but I use Starting Page as my search engine, and none of them seem to work with it. Anyone feel like offering up a good reason to go back to Google? I guess I can, now that I'm using Blogger. But I'm still wary. [e digicons]:S[/e] </p
Ruth is... hey, what the hell? This isn't a little baby called Ruth, this is a chocolate bar. Mmmm... chocolate bar! [e digicons][/e]

You need a knife and fork license there?
A TV license, to the best of my knowledge, is purely to pay for the BBC programming. The other channels fund themselves through product advertisements. The only thing the Beeb advertises is it's programs. At least on TV, that is.
HDTV's have an anti-glare coating [do NOT clean with anything but a very soft cloth and soap and water]. The way to kill glare is through back lighting and light placement in the room. You can adjust the backlighting, as well. Allows you to view the TV in the dark without the uncomfortable feeling in your eyes. If your HDTV does not have a back light, it's simple to take a weak wattage (15 - 30 Watts) in a so

Sounds like fun, but I bet you'd be talking big, big bucks for the big, big TV with Windows 7. Taking that into consideration, I'd want to know the max resolution, especially for when it came to gaming. The GPU is probably going to have its work cut out, so anything less than a high end rig merged with it would be off-putting. The panel looks like it's glass, or at least very glossy, which may not be to everyones taste because of the reflections. Not that it would
Yeah, I noticed that. I've set my blog to adult so you should receive a warning before you can view it. There's nothing to the warning really. Just some blurb that absolves Google/Blogger of any blame if seeing a schlong or nads scars some kid's poor, little mind. [e digicons]8O[/e]
The services that would allow it (without issue or question) are probably ones you want to avoid anyway. I doubt what they are hosting is 'artistic'.
[e digicons

I'll sort something out with the template for the site asap. Just a little busy at the moment trying to create an icon or two and recolouring

On the advice of Po Smedley I set up a Blogger account last night and then wrote my first entry. It's going to be for showing my artwork more than anything, though I might make actual blog posts too. Obviously there's still a lot to do with setting things up properly, but I'll get it done soon. Anyway, the blog is at http://www.hexedrenal.com/ [e digicons][/e] That's http://www

Thanks for posting that, Po. Far too many people think that suicide is a cowards way out. They're wrong. And suicide isn't painless, but those that attempt it hope it will be an end to their pain. I survived my attempts, and depending on my mood I think that I survived because I'm either such a useless fucker that I can't even do myself in properly, or that I'm supposed to still be here. These day
I'd hoped to avoid using Blogger because it's owned by Google, but it does seem like a better option. Plus I just noticed this in the terms of service for Weebly - These types of sites are not allowed on Weebly: Adult : involving nudity in a sexual context, exposed genitalia or adult themes. There are a couple of pictures that have "exposed genitalia" in them, though it was still kind of artistically done. Or at least I thought so. Th

As the title suggests, I'm looking for somewhere to setup a website. Mostly it will be somewhere to show my artwork, and maybe post the odd rant, lol. I've found a place called Weebly LINK . It seems pretty good, especially considering I have no HTML or CSS skills. Anybody know of anywhere better? Thanks [e digicons][/e]

Well, I'm guessing I didn't win the Wincustomize subscription for August's screenshot thread. So I decided to buy it today instead. I've noticed a few things though, and I thought that becoming a subscriber would sort them out. It hasn't, so I need some info and/or help with them. Firstly, there seems to be a difference between my Wincustomize site when compared to others. I hope you don't mind Doc, but I grabbed a screenshot of your site to illustrate
