Have you tried turning it off and on again... Sorry, I had to. I am assuming you tried running as Administrator? i hate that you are having this issue. Hopefully it will get sorted very soon so you can play.

This is just an initial view on where some of the features stand, and my opinion at the time. Most of these are not things I expect huge change on. I am simply stating my opinion on the current build so the team can get feedback. All of this is meant as constructive and should not be take as anything but that. Units I feel the units themselves are pretty well done. They are varied enough to allow good unit composition, while keeping the gameplay
Is the Founders section not closed to the public?
Sounds good. I am getting ready to load it up and do some stress testing. Will let you guys know how it runs!
Out of curiosity, are we going to have a special section to discuss all the suggestions, bugs, etc. that we have/find or is it going to be open to the public?
If you are a founder you can now find your Steam key by visiting Stardock.com/games , Account, then My Downloads. Redeem the key on Steam and start downloading!!
@Frogboy To be completely honest I am glad the team is taking the approach you are. There have been countless times I have seen games ruined because the player base whines and complains until something gets implemented. I want Ashes to be its own game, and not a clone of something else I have played. With that being said, I do believe that community feedback is valuable as long as it pertains to the overall vision of the game. If you want the game to be a clone of another game
I enjoy Kasteel Rouge No8. It can be a little costly if you drink a lot of it, but I find it very enjoyable.
Awesome stuff. It is very difficult to not share this info on our gaming site, but I will refrain from doing so since I love you guys so much. Kinda bummed media has to wait until Early Access to open the flood gates. Thanks for the content! Really loving the teaser.
Think ask and you shall receive is an understatement at this point... Thanks for all content!! Will get to work making some cool flair for the Reddit members.
@Frogboy So we won't see much in regard to bases, defenses, etc. in the Alpha?
@Frogboy It's beyond awesome to see that the game will actually use some hardware. I have been waiting a long time for a truly massive scale RTS, and from the way you speak that may just happen. I hope you guys continue to shoot for the stars when it comes to scale. The thoughts of having a game where I can truly wage war makes me giddy. Having battles can be fun, but I want a real war!
Hi! Not just 64-bit but has the world's first (to my knowledge anyway) asynchronous multi-core scheduler so we use all your hardware to its full extent.
This is pretty awesome actually. Glad to see more of my hardware used to create this level of play.
1. If there isn't a subedit on Ashes yet, could someone make it? The nature of this game is such that we really want to be able to talk to the community a lot prior to release.
Subreddit? If that is what you are after then I made one as soon as the game was announced. If any of the devs or community guys join over there be sure to message me and I wil
Glad to be part of the community, and really looking forward to getting my copy of the Alpha.
Yea, as someone who loves massive RTS games I am truly looking forward to the concept behind this game. I love the thought of having supply lines and a massive ongoing war.
I really need to stop spending money. Unfortunately for me I am a complete RTS junkie. As of today I have joined the Founders program and really look forward to playing the game as soon as the Alpha is released to us.
As a huge RTS fan this game looks very interesting. I will be keeping a close eye on this. And I am now a founder...
