I create my designs , not replicate masters of the past or present. I have not seen these old skins to judge them and if I did see them, I would not insult their work. Uvah, of course, everyone is with Jafo. I do not see anything in my posts that would be taking anything away from any master skinner. In my first post I responded to half of the statement above mine about skins being boring and similar.I ignored the comparison to masters, which now this pos
NAh, I like this one.

so I can delete them? Task manager claims they are actually using resources.Version 7.4 here windows 7 64
It would be nice if this site, it's members, and it's staff would be a bit more supportive of new skinners trying to get better and learn new things about skinning, without the insults. There is not one skin on the front page that is similar to the other.Your choice whether or not you think they are boring. But not similar. I don't know what you think would be an exciting skin.I try different approaches, from safe to weird styles. It seems unless a skin is from
Nice postseveryone. Especially the op. DrJbl, congrats, what a cute baby. I am thankful for all of my fingers so I can skin for starters But, my family and my pets are my world. Happy holidays all, be safe and happy.

If you're referring to Snow....it might pay to check his joining date..... Snow's done more for skinning than just about anyone...
I see nothing new! What one used to do means nothing, and yes it was , is insulting,.

What really sucks is now that this thread has been ruined by someone who has no clue to what they are talking about, you ruined what could have been a pleasant discussion by artists at WC as to what we may plan , separate , or as a group, for the holidays. Every time I read someone speak out of ignorance it reminds me, and I actually will go read, the posts under my first skin "Vines". Talk about ignorance at its best. It takes a l

Okay, you can stay, but chill out on the killer skins for a bit, let us get ahead.Just kiddin about the skins, but very glad your skinning still.
I'd like to put my 1/2 cent in with "JuniorCrooks": It seems that the trend nowadays is "geometric" patterns and grayscales, all in the name of efficiency (or something). Strange: now that the tech and OS will support it, all of the imagination has evaporated. Check out https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/6568/ by "Stardock Design". Now THAT's some skin! I just found this interesting. If the journey is so hard to become a master, why would one go that far, invest so much of themselves, and then quit skinning? Baffles me. To earn that title only to toss it to the wind, a shame. So RND,did the op make it to the top?
