I like the changes that come with the patches. So not everyone is complaining. Your perceptions are your own. We all see what we are looking for on Internet forums.

0.05 is added to the base which then gets percentage bonuses. 5% is one of those bonuses. It makes more difference if you have other bonuses to apply to your base. However, percentage bonuses applied to .05 additional base won't be a huge difference. Still, it should be done correctly.
You can't see the Pirates because they are hiding, cleverly waiting to ambush an unsuspecting Survey Ship. I don't know where they are hiding out there in the empty space that usually surrounds a Precursor Anomaly. If I did know, I wouldn''t tell you because Space Pirates are vengeful towards people who reveal their secrets. I do think Pirates need to update weapons and hulls over time, especially the ones guarding precursor anomalies. Theoretically
Judging from the dev stream, the intention is to let them be a limited resource in large maps with numbers of factions, as something to compete for or lose out on. I am not seeing any likelihood of changing that unless there are a lot of requests like this.
Multiplayer is more than one human player in a game. Metaverse is the reporting system on games played.
I have to speak up and say that founders who stood by you from the start don't deserve that kind of change in the support system. However, you do what you need to do. Review submitted. Tell Paul and the crew thanks for the work.
Well, i do like the AI to have more planets than me,,, because i only play up to genius level,,
The only way I know to do what you want is with the map editor. Have someone who knows your preferences gen up a few arbitrary maps so you don't know where everything is. A friend and I talked about it and swapping maps, but I am actually quite happy with thegenerated maps, es
Interesting as I selected it early in my ongoing game and am rather sure that it always paid. I do recall that when I took the lone precursor relic that I found, it didn't pay the extra 100 but perhaps that wasn't intended.
I have to report that it does indeed add 100 credits to a precursor relic. The relic popup gave the relic bonus and its credits and the 100 credit bonus for Ysengard was al
As it is now, people buying the DLC will be unhappy to rarely encounter a PC relic.
People buying the DLC now will think that is the way it is supposed to work and that precursor relics are very special and worth celebrating. Unless, of course, someone convinces them they are being cheated somehow. It is a matter of perspective.
I confirm #2.
Quoting erischild, reply 23 No, I am not serious. I seldom am completely serious, I just sound preachy. Also, I usually have points in my jests. Can be hard to tell in writing if someone is saying something in jest or sarcastically unl
Quoting erischild, reply 19 I play Civ 5, a lot. Civ is my other addiction. The lack of tech trading is one of my least favorite features of that game. I'm sure there are many others. <di
At present, there is no mechanism to do what you are asking for. I agree it would be a UI enhancement for micro managers.
People would have said that about Firaxis's Civilizations series once... although not everyone likes the changes since Civ 4 I haven't heard many complain about the lack of tech trading. I'd be surprised if people want it back in Civ 6. Some posters have mentioned the AI getting smarter in future updates, I think you're massively overestimating Stardock's ability to balance this system and how much
I understand your points and how disabling tech trade does not address all of your issues. I fully expect the AI to get smarter and smarter over time, and more difficult to exploit. That is the strategy Stardock uses for AI development. If the purpose of your proposal is to make up for AI deficiencies, I would prefer to take the more patient approach and let the devs keep working on the AI instead of redesigning the game and the 4X genre. As many people point out, tech
Actually I love it when the dlcs all work together.
Good point. I am also using the merc that gives me 100 credits for each anomaly. It is fun to use it in a fleet to open a pre-cursor anomaly. I also have a manufacturing boost ship stationed at one of my precursor worlds. It started by boosting my home world and then moved to the precursor planet to help pump out acc
Also, you can find all sorts of factions of all ideologies on the workshop. Load up the percentages as you like them.
I know about the separate folders, but I did a search on the entire drive for the filename and no luck.
As an additional data point or two: Seilore and I were able to create a two person game with 1.6 and custom factions. It took many tries. The changing faction event happened to Seilore several times. A major issue we had was that any human error in communicating, choosing, and implementing the initial settings required a complete exit and re-setup. This greatly complicated recovering from technical issues. We were unable to successfully join together unle
I know the Beta is about feedback for bugs and not about aesthetics, but I have to object to the camera shake effect in the Battle Viewer. I can ignore physics reality immersion issues if I have to, even though it bothers me tremendously that blowing up one tiny pirate ship shakes the whole universe every time. What if it only happened for Huge hulls? I cannot take the visual effect, myself. I find it jarring to my eyes. I also find it gets extremely re
Adding a confirmation button would be a pain for the 99% of the time you hit the right button. I suggest moving the buttons around on the dialogue box. I have definitely done exactly the same mistake many times, and it is highly annoying, but I am not willing to put up with an "Are You Sure" nag just because I am on finger autopilot sometimes. I don't encourage retreat in my soldiers or admirals. Die like the space cannon fodder you are! ;)
I will chime in on the appreciation for what got out and when. Somebody was working hard, that's for sure. Been there, done that.
The best I can see is that it doesn't happen to me unless I click inside one of the other techs in the other screens. So I don't do that. Then I can look at the other branches. I notice that you can single click on a specialization choice spot and expand it without actually selecting one of the specializations. So, if you are clicking in the white space on the other pages and that is changing your selection, you should definitely submit a ticket.
I doubt it. Half the thigns I've read in there are extremely vague. "The AI is so easily exploited." for instance. OK. We'll get on decreasing that setting by 31% right away.
Can this please be a player controllable setting? Sometimes my player decisions are so bad I could use an exploitable AI in order to make up for it.&nb
3 PM Eastern is a good guess for a time. I will take a pessimistic view and stake out 3:00 PM Eastern on Friday, Feb 5. I will also hope I am way wrong.
