A blast from WC's past. in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I thought this was cute. If you want to see what Wincustomize looked like, in say, March 30th, 2001, all you have to do is type in WC's URL in their "Way Back Machine" and its archived 'looks' will appear. There are 5 archived pages saved from 2001 and 8 for 2002. Its interesting to see how this site has evovled, who was on the top list back then and which skins were being posted! The Internet Arch

sig Saddam seemed quite able to know everything that was going on, and nothing that didn't have his blessing could happen there, he was quite able to eliminate anything or anyone he wanted to. I see plenty there for concern. For one thing, the day we pulled out from Gulf War number 1, I thought to myself, this isn't over, he will retaliate. Being a leader of a nation, Saddam can't hide like BinLaden can, so he needed someone to do the dirty work. It fits.

Doreen, I suppose its best to leave each country handle its own problems...but when it became apparent that Saddam had ties with Bin Laden, then we took it personal. We have problems here, so, we wouldn't want some one on the outside to take upon themselves to 'fix' our problems. But if you think we should be righting every wrong, then I believe some other thread here about another country in deep trouble as well. Perhaps we should ride in and help them as well.

wombat other people have post links to news stories here without you jumping on them as you did me. I never suggested anything about the suicide vests except that I was pleased that as far as I know, we could be thankful that they didn't exist in our schools here to Doreen. Anything on the Russia-France-China angle will continue to interest me, since they were opposed so hard to the war, and because I feel there are reasons for it. Namely the money trail they are finding now. <

I think a lot has been on Bush's mind at night, especially since the US was attacked by three planes and 3000 people died, because this happened on his watch. I think he feels that Hussein was in league with Osama Bin Laden. I think the alternative to doing nothing was too high a price, even though this war is also a high price. Who knows what he thinks at night, but that sure is a possibility.
