I've been playing for hours and I finally got itchy and wondered where my custom Steel Golems went to. So I gave up and tried to remake the unit design.. Only to find out that I cannot change the armor color anymore. I suspect it's related to the disappearance of my custom steel golems D= As you can see in the picture,, the main clothing color just refuses to change even when I tell it to. Resoln is so damn dodgy! Many many many skeletons was harmed in process of the war of Geddens, the last Resoln city and the dodgy oracle hiding in there. In the end, even the dodgiest is overswarmed and slain!

DsRaider, i play with 9 ai factions, i don't wanna increase it more because at the moment the Huge maps is still too small for me xD And no, a hero isn't just sitting there. You can have a troop unit or a hero that sits there but as it levels up with ur army, it will keep it well healed, high level First Aid is powerful heal. Sometimes a low level hero can be a difference between you still getting to keep every single unit on field

Plus... Low level heroes can be useful, u know that trait? It's a huge huge huge difference between being able to battle continuously and being forced to retreat and heal for 20+ turns! Healer trait tend to be the first perk I pick on every single hero. It's too damn useful for grinding.

immune to magic snake things is obsidians, they're really tough until you have weapons with decent amount of attackpower, preferably at least boar spears upgrade from spears. Alot of stuff can die to boar spears. I even brought down a god with boar spears and an assassin xD And Obsidian golem... i once got attacked by them early game where I only had spears but plenty of mana for heal spam.. took me crazy amount of turns in a single battle to bring one of them down

I usually don't have a problem.. Low level champions fight defensively with soldiers then when they're strong enough, they're one man wrecking crew. Really easy to level up champions if you play on biggest of the maps possible. I tend to take low level armies and heroes and send them off to untamed parts of lands and skirmish there until they're strong enuff which result in me having powerful armies everywhere. And is the main reason why AI's ambushe

The penalties I thought of only would affect the tactical layer. Explorer, Stealth, Staff explorer units are a bit too expensive at moment for a critical part of the game where production queues are extremely tied up. Yeah it's fun exploiting the AI isn't it? lol If you are here, you aren't playing a challenging game. Just another of the masses playing unchallenging games. Well Gaunathor, I disagree with the thought of borders in GalCiv2, I don't like it very much. I'm generally a peaceful fellow but if I find you inside my lines? Your dead.
I've seen 4 main aspects of borders so far: 1) There is a United Planets event that taxes starbases within someone else's borders. 2) It shows the extent of your influence. Where there is more than 1 influence on a tile, it will show whose influence is greatest. 3) There is a United Planets event that removes enemy warships to outside of borders (neutral territory) at the start of hostilities. <br

hmmm, what to do if my fleet is already built but the enemy is already built. Do I just go and blow up as much of his planets and starbases in the process as I can to get rid of the now useless ships cuz of bombers. So that it'll free up supply points for cruiser carriers? Because Ast eternal is being a loser and escorting his bomber fleet with a titan and whole brevy of capital carriers plus few capital battleships.

..... I'd love to drop a falling star on that stack of 11 armies xD It'd probably obliterate 3/4 of them in first turn then kill the rest next turn and you can take the city back with a single skelly provided taht you have enough fire shards to amplify the falling star's power that much. I'm curious though, what difficulty are you playing on?

I picked up Galciv2 because I heard galciv3 got announced few weeks ago. But, I'm totally lost on the purpose of cultural borders because while I was playing a yutz waltzed inside my borders and settled on three of colonized worlds that I was going to colonize, I got beaten to them by a turn. It upset me alot for few weeks, until then I decided to ask here to learn more about cultural borders because it doesn't work like other games. It do

How do I blasts it to pieces cuz I ragequit after AST Eternal's fleet was basically nothing but bombers. I signed up for hot ship on ship action not fighter on bomber action.. Sadly the 40 flak frigates I brought surprisingly wasn't even enough at all. Do I need to bring like 200 Flak frigates? If no, how do I erase the bombers super fast.
