I did try to put my Stardock central GalCiv II key into steam but it did not work, it seems to work the other way around though, my steam key works in Stardock central. Very strange. you would think the keys would be interactive.
SoaSE Trinity is only $5 at the moment, and is a better buy if you're new to the series. Rebellion is overpriced at $30 imo. I enjoyed SoaSE, but Rebellion doesn't offer $30 worth of content above Trinity for existing owners.
Agreed, £5 for Rebellion and not a penny more. :D

Some of the Steam deals are very much worth the money and it's very hard to resist a lot of them. As for Rebellion, well, it's a dirty stealing pickpocket conman no-good robber, it makes my principles smoulder. It adds nothing to Diplomacy but a titan or two, and the colour pink, therefore it is a simple add-on. So no moneys for big, bad Rebellion from me this Steam summer sale. :)
Yeah, mainly I play the game like a story with a AI that gives me some reasonable compatition. I like to watch the battles and progress of my coloneys. I know I could play it clicky, twitch, clicky, but this type of highly competitive&nbs

It came to late. I have bought everything except Rebellion, which I won't buy until it's at the price that it deserves, and that would roughly be around £5 and not a penny more. ;)

There is no easy in this game. The daft devs don't understand what the word 'easy' means. Easy is not in their vocabulary nor their dictionary. They have no understanding what-so-ever of the word 'easy', so for those
Hmm, I'm actually surprised it worked on a save game. Though you'd need to start a new one for it to work, but good to hear. Ha-har. :D I loaded up my game after activating the mod, and at first thought it hadn't worked, as the missile was still fired towards my planet. But then half way to it's destination the missile blinked out and my population was saved. Looks like it works. Me very ********* happy now. :D
Well, here's the one for Rebellion. If you want to recreate it for Diplomacy, find a copy of the reference files and copy the PlayerTech.entity, PlayerPsi.entity, and PlayerPhase.entity files. Then find your mod folder and make a new folder. In that folder make a folder called "GameInfo". Paste those three files in there. Then open them in notepad, and go to the section near the top called "researchInfo". Reduce the count under it by 1, and the

I know there is one for Rebellion, I'm sure there is one for Diplomacy too, its just been buried in the forums. Just got the game myself and I have to agree that the game is way over the top, even on easy. There should be at least 3 lower levels of difficulty and some way to restrict the AI to how much it can build. I think the last patch or two ruined this game. The game is stupidly hard, the AI cheats and there are a lot of bugs, the worst one being your ships forget if they are on auto or not. I would go far as to say that this game is now one big b***s up.
I prefer them keeping their prices lower, as apposed to having them high usually, and putting a sale out for a few days.
I don't know. Most people including reviewers, say that Rebellion for instance, is over priced for a expansion.

I have searched but could not seem to find a clear answer to my question, so.... If I buy Trinity on steam will it go on my Stardock account so that I can play it with or without Steam? I prefer to use Stardock but I have money on Steam, so to be able to buy from Steam yet have it on Stardock would be perfect. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
