I did find out the answer. You have to set the image size(part size) one pixel less than the actual size of the image file for it to work.

Thanks for writing all that out! :) I got the file saved, but when I click APPLY SKIN, all I get is the blue default image. I set all the Please Wait image areas to the .NWA file... What am I doing wrong?
Is there a tutorial for this? I can't quite figure out how to get the framebuilder to actually work.
Hey Wulfn1, Just saw this and I think it's great you were able to use my skin in such an interesting way! Good job, it looks great! :)
I remember reading somewhere about when you're making an animation to add or subtract a pixel to make it work? I've been looking all over and can't seem to find this. I'm working on a user pane animation and have 4 frames, but I can't get it to work. The spacing is correct but it just won't budge. I'd appreciate any help. [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Oh okay. I have Wincustomize set as my homepage and it automatically logs me in every time. That's why it wasn't working. Thanks!
Not sure where exactly I should post this, but I've got a question... Why is it that the MY SITE link at the top right of the window on Wincustomize homepage will take me to my site in IE but in Firefox, it only takes me to the update your personal site page? Is there a reason that it should be working that way?
I'm having the same exact problem. I almost posted a new thread when I saw this one. Soundpackager starts up and then dies after about 5 seconds..then the SEND ERROR REPORT dialog comes up.
Just got https://www.wincustomize.com/upload.aspx to work for me, though the regular one didn't.
Could both of you PM me your email addresses? I can't send a file through the email here on the site. Thanks!
Sent email. Thanks! :)
I'm not sure you posted to the right category friend, but anyone reading this post should see, and hopefully offer to test for you, if you get stuck for a tester I'll help you out, just pm/email me.
That's why I wasn't sure where to post it. I didn't see a particular section for this. :)
Imzadi what OS is it for and what kind of skin?
For XP and Vista. It has both stuff included. It would be helpful if whoever tested it had both OS's, but not necessary.
The Pro version. It seemed to help to reinstall it, though now and then it doesn't seem to want to save. I have to close it out and open it back up and it works okay.
I have a new skin I'm working on and need somebody(ies) to test it for me. Is there a particular place I need to go to ask about this? This is the first skin I've created with Skinstudio 6, so I want to make sure I'm not really screwing something up. :) Thanks!
In case anybody is interested, I had to reinstall Skinstudio 5 and it worked fine. Looks like I'm only going to be using 6 for the Vista skinning parts. What a shame.
Have you checked the boxes Tile top section, tile bottom section, tile left section, tile right section? These are the important settings for tiling. You should see instant changes in the preview if tiling is working properly.NT is correct it won't tile w/out those boxes, note:I have noticed that every once and a while the settings don't take so after setting tiling and checkboxes press code editor and see if the proper code is inserted if not you can type it in and it will stay !To tile i
Have you checked the boxes Tile top section, tile bottom section, tile left section, tile right section? These are the important settings for tiling. I mean I tried it and it didn't work. I tried all the options, but it wouldn't work. I've also had trouble importing .png files. It's like it won't take or something. I wonder if I have a faulty copy of SkinStudio?
I updated to Skinstudio 6 a few weeks ago, but I need some help. I've created a taskbar that needs to be tiled, not stretched. For some reason, I can't find a way to do that. With Skinstudio 5, there was an option to either tile or stretch, but with 6, it doesnt' seem to work. What could I be doing wrong?
I'm using the small icons. They appear smaller in the start menu, but larger in the taskbar buttons and the tray. They fill up the buttons, top to bottom I mean. It's not typical, it's just something that's happened in the past few days.
This may seem like a stupid question but, how do I resize my taskbar icons? For some reason, it seems like my icons have resized themselves up too big. (the font isn't big, at all, it's pretty teeny) It doesn't matter which skin I apply, they're still the same size. Resizing the desktop icons seems to affect them, but I have to resize them WAY down tiny. What could be causing this?
I have quite a few of his wallpapers. They were really cool and ahead of their time..at the time. :D
I probably change my WB and my wallpaper equal amounts. I try to match them up, so if I change one, the other has to go too.
I thought this was odd too. Widescreen desktop monitors must be a lot more popular than I thought. I personally don't particularly care for the widescreen on my laptop. I much prefer the standard resolution.
