All the versions till now from WB5 cause problems on my computer. First: after installing WB5 the ini-file in which the per application settings are saved is empty Second: - after some minutes i get corrupted titelbars. Changing the options in WB 5 that must solve this problem don't help - applications are freezing as soon the problem with the corrupted titblebars is
You know the meaning of the word BETA?
I already use OD a long time.. since the OS2 days. Still i like the product very much! Keep up the good work Stardock.
Can Stardock explain why these settings are saved in the registry and not in an ini-file or something like that? For backing up your settings this is a more difficult way. Export the registry settings and then backup and restoring is also more difficult. In all other programs from Stardock the settings are saved in ini-files and easy to backup.
Hi there, Can someone tell me where the settings are saved from Stardock Virtual Desktops? I did look for ini-files and things like that, but i can't find it.
Reading is difficult isn't it?
This graphic doesn't tell so much. Is this an absolute or relative graphic? And even when it is relative then still it doesn't say so much. Can't you give some indication of selling numbers? I understand you can't give exact numbers (the competition is reading this site too) but must we think in hunders or thousands or more copies? <img src="http://images.star
Hi there, Looking in the libraries i can't find icons for Object Dock for all Stardock Products. Does anyone know if there are good icons (high resolution) for the CC and the TLP ? Chao, bussie
The latest release does show a very odd window in the ojbect desktop section. Anyone seen that too?
Any chance you are running the Microsoft Anti Spywaretool? This is a known issue....
WB only skins scrollbars in IE with XP. That is the reason that i did change a long time ago from win2k to winxp.
The people in the US musn't complain too much about the gas-price. Come to The Netherlands. 1 liter costs here about $ 1,45. So 1 gallon is about $ 5,48
What i'm curious about is: why have so many people problems with SP2 in combination with the Stardock applications? I haven't had any problems
@creaonics... If you have had many times dataloss with NTFS, then their is definitely something else very wrong with your system. I work with WinNT since NT4 and i have never had any dataloss.
If you can't find any messages about it in the newsgroups, then you did something wrong with your newsreader. There are several crosspost about it.
Very funny.. though i will not run Linspire
I think your anti virus program Avast gives a false warning. None of other known anti virus programs (Norton and so on) give a warning. Check the file with a online virus scanner. If it is oke then, ignore the message of Avast. See also the newsgroups for more news about this. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered
The mirror isn't working also. Can't Stardock put this file on their servers? I have been trying now all day to download the file.. no luck
To fix this problem, you have to de-install OD and then install OD Plus again. Then you will no longer have the prompt for OD that there is a new version.
I didn't have any problems after installing SP2.
I think it isn't worth the money. I also prefer Total Commander. The only negative with Total Commander is that you don't have a viewer then that can handle many formats.
If you use SDC it is better to uninstall the free version of OD. If you don't do that and there is an update for the free version then you will get everytime the message that there is an update for the free version.
