Whoa Jafo, the doer of all things, so cool

AOL IS GONE! - from my computer. Took nearly 20 minutes of waiting on the phone to get through. All I had to say was, "I've been through this a little over an hour ago, Cancel my subscription now please". But Sir, they replied, what is wrong, can we--. "NOW Please" I said. "Yes sir" they replied, "here is your confirmation number, you still have 30 days".... The wicked witch is dead! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigsmile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi
DANG! They told me on the phone Ulimited Service, but looking at the Awards, it says BASIC! That's it, I back on the phone tonight. DARN! >
Thanks JamM, I will certainly remember next time I call,-like pulling teeth huh?. Yet for every minute I am using AOL, I am paying for Earthlink, well, not me, my brother as a thank-you for rebuilding a computer for him. Still, I feel a little foolish, AOL Rep was a smooth talker, I should have known. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi
Take all the time you need WOM, we ain't doin' nothin' around here anyways.
UhOh, you mean I was played? Is this a bad thing JamM? I wish I knew this beforehand
YOUR NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS, I called AOL about an hour ago to cancel my free 1000hr/45day Unlimited Sevice,(which runs out in three days) as I have already now subscribed to Earthlink. And during the course of our conversation, I mentioned how I was disapointed with their ties to pornography through Time Warner and the higher prices. At first, the Representative at AOL told me how
It was Earthlinks popup stopper alright. I turned it off since I have Web Washer which does the same thing but allows me access where I want. Thanks again IP, your certainly a sharp one. I might have figured it out later but all this new stuff got my brain in about fifty pieces. But I am back for 6 more months, now lets see what I can get into around here <img src="http://images.stardo
OOOhhhh, I believe that could very well be the case. Thanks IPlural. Like I said, just to say again, it does not happen in the Skin browser though.
That outright theft
Will remember DJ, DJ I have a question, Skinbrowser working fine with Earthlink. Have cross referenced all names and addresses, Emails. But while in Micros IE and logged in, when I try to click on the comments, I get a red fist. I have never seen this before, and I used to be able to access comments from here - IE. Any ideas?
As a Linux user dual booted with Windows, I find this thread funny in a good way. If it were not for Linux showing me what skinning is, I might not be here at WC. I like both and enjoy them as much. It is also nice to just restart and pick what you want to use for the day.
Can you believe it? All the problems I was having and thinking it was my computer turns out to have been from AOL, or maybe the isp's they were using (??). This is like a dream come true, and would be if I could pop for DSL. Now all I have to do is cancel my subscription with AOL, Monday.
Hurry back WOM, missing all your inspiring comments. Still keeping you in my prayers too for a speedy and full recovery.
I've switched from AOL to Earthlink. My free AOL runs out on the 5th of March. I already notice my Skinbrowser opens and logs in instantly, whereas with AOL, I never knew when it would if it would. Microsoft Internet Explorer no longer has all the crazy text junk it recently began showing, and none so far with other web sites. So I think AOL has some issues to resolve as well as it's porn ties. Goodbye AOL, I can't say it was fun, but it WAS cheap fo
Welcome back Fuzzy, I am glad you are home again. Take things easy. And you are still in my prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
I was going to suggest trying another skin. I am afraid my new attempt nearly locked up my computer, it's a wonder I didn't lose my online connection. It sounds like you have the answer there Werewolf, I am sure she will appreciate it as I.
I am going to to try this myself again, Blondie66. I had quit using SysMetrix because my system couldn't keep it together very long. When I was running it, I had no problems applying skins, so let me see what I come up with. If anyone else has a solution, please speak up.
*Right Click*
SysMetrix is an App, not a theme. Open it like you would any App, then left click it to choose a theme.
I think it's time to go fishin'
Finally, the worms are back in the can.
Adni would never say "Forget it. This skin is ugly. Forget I ever gave you permission in the first place." But I would. Nice work Paxx, that was pretty cool.
*poink* ouch!, Darn, I just dropped my can "o" worms.
No matter, Earthlink was my first choice anyway, but the offer is only good until March 31, 03. So it looks like I can bug everybody at WC for 6 more months, hahahaheheheh.... Thanks again paxx
