You could of put this down in the "OS Customization" section under DesktopX And sorry that I don't have a answer to your question.
Well, could always have it that you have to mark if there is any part of nudity in it then cross-reference with the viewer's Birthday. If you are over a certain age, then it will show. By what I've noticed, the majority of the people on wincustomize are older. But hey, I could be wrong. I'm just going by the ones that post in the forum and I've seen the profile for. Does anybody know if that birthday site was still up with the member's listed? I forgot
What I said was, if you want a blog, go over to joeuser.com because it's basically a part of Wincustomize, but you already know that
Edit: For those that caught my last message, I wasn't thinking correctly. I haven't really got into the blog thing to answer this
She's probably refering to this one ->https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=21626&LibID=8
Here's the update: With some help from the forum I was at, the icons now show up and after I changed the layout of the files, the background skinned. I am alot closer now to have mine posted again. I'm just making some edits to the theme, then I'll repost it.
Let's see, yes it is better then IE, Now since it is getting high marks, it will be targeted but the holes will be fixed much much faster then IE. IE is also not the greatest to skin, IE also does not have the functions that firefox has, unless you download a browser that uses IE for the core. Firefox uses the Netscape core or Mozilla core, whatever you want to say. The diffrence is, Firefox is worked on by the world and Netscape is a bunch of
For those that wanted to see this work, here is a update. I redid the file layout. I managed to get it to skin the toolbar without any problems. I'm still having issues with the toolbar using the previous skin's icons. I'm asking also over on the Mozilla forum on help while I work on this. Once I get some of these bugs worked out of my theme, it will even be better then what I was trying to post.
Well, here is a path I might take. It looks like I might just start all over with the second layout of files and just transfer what I have done over to that where they need to be. Plus I'm going to add a couple more edits to the skin that I came across that was bothering me that I didn't skin yet. I have no clue how long it will take me either to get that far. Today is already going to be a busy day. But I'll try my best to get it in the new
I just wanted to post that I decided to deleted my Alien Chrome Firefox skin off of Wincustomize till I can fix the bugs in the install. I thought I had it fixed this last time but it didn't turn out that way. Each time I fixed one problem, another showed up, I also understand why I didn't see the problems. I'm testing my file on my other computer since it's not set up the way I have this one set up. Once I h
I almost thought it was lost for good. Thanks for finding it
There, I went through the IRC channel and got a GUID then reposted. It should be updated now. Uninstall the prevous one and try the fixed file. Let me know if that worked?
No, I actually got it from GUIDGEN.exe that was in my visual basic program. That could be the reason then. If you have a skin with the same GUID, it will blend together a little.
I have the file fixed but someone said there was still a problem. Can anyone here check it out and let me know what they found? I worked on it in class for several hours and got it working. I was able to drag it over to my theme menu and it installed and stayed without any errors. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times to make sure. Thanks.
Thanks, I posted a new topic since I couldn't find the answer in any of the threads. I have school here soon so hopefully I can get on the internet there and see if anybody can help me.
Now this sucks. It crashes the browser if you try to install my skin. I don't know how to delete what I submitted. I thought I had it but it's not there till I started to mess with things and I don't know what is wrong.
What I ended up doing is messing with the stylesheets till I figured out what did what. Like I used a bright orange color to find what tags went with what area of the browser. From there, I just kept adding and I got it to a likable skin. I will make improvements on and off depending on the time I have. Like I want to change the throbber, change more of the icons, try to skin the bottom of the browser (had alot of problems here), and some other stuff I
Well, I finished Version one of my skin. I uploaded it and now to see if it makes it.
Well, this is mine without windowblinds loaded. It's suppose to go with my ObjectDock skin "Alien Chrome". I still got several icons left to make. I'm trying to be creative on some so they don't match other people's icons and it goes with the alien theme. It's getting closer though.
Just wanted to say that I'm getting there. I finally made it past that hump with the background. I would of figured it out sooner but I haven't had much time to sit down and work on it. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like so far. It has work left to be done to it. I'm not sure how much I can get done though before the end of this month. I'm going to at least try to have it done. <img src="http://weaksid.waoarea.com/images/external/firef
That great thing about firefox is it's alot secured then the other browsers and the extensions you can install are amazing. You can do all types of stuff with firefox that you can't with other browsers.
I'm working on mine now, as soon as I can get pass this wall, then I'll be alot closer to being done. The browser I'm using right now has what I have done so far and it doesn't look bad. I still got a bunch of icons to make that I normally don't see and get this .css files situated. The reason some might not be posted is because it takes alot to make them and a huge amount of people don't know how to skin the program.
WickedP, Hey, I need a little nudge on this. I've started it and It's getting there. I however am stuck on trying to change the background color or add a image to the whole browser? I disabled windowsblinds because it seems to take over it. I took apart your skin and you used the layout alot of people seem to be using. I'm using the classic style for my first on then go from there. But which .css file deals with the color for the browser? I ca
