I would like to get to the bottom of this problem, for those of you who cannot see the Fences configuration dialog, can you please do the following? Create this registry key WindowsPowerShell way: Set-ItemProperty -path "HKCU:\Software\Stardock" -name "Debug" -value 1 Windows old command shell way: reg add HKCU\Software\Stardock /v Debug /t REG_SZ /d 1 Then download debug view (save both of these files) and run debug view: <a href="http:
Can you please give me the steps to reproduce on a fresh machine? Do any of your friends machines have this issue? If possible could you use Jing to record the icon moving issue? Thanks! Zargon
Widows and Widowers? Sounds like SimRenaissance
I think (constructive) criticism is more useful for the devs than praises.
Actually a good dose of both help. That way the features you like can be enhanced as well. Besides, the developers worked hard on this work and would like to hear you are enjoying the game as well.
Hi, Fences uses about 1-2MB of Explorer in our testing. Zargon
Yes but I don't want a shortcut of the Control Panel. I want an icon like every other default one (Computer / Network / Recycle Bin). Now that we know there is no official support for a Control Panel context menu option, I would like to respectfully request one. Cheers and thanks for the suggestions, Paul.
Actually we added this as a new feature in Fences (to hide the shortcut arrow), would that meet your requirements?
Hi, Thank you for this feedback. We were thinking about doing this for touch anyway, so it might be something we break out as a feature for both. Zargon
Joshua, Hi. We do have a forum for Fences. It is here, I will see about having it linked better from the root Forums. https://forums.stardock.com/forum/501 Thank you for your align to grid feedback. icen9ne, Thank you so much for your support. Zargon
icen9ne, Being as I am one of those responsible for Impulse, I am glad to hear it worked out for you! Maybe you could change the title of your post to how a Netgear router ruined my night? [e digicons]:|[/e] Zargon
Star Adder, You say you have not had experience with a bad networking cable. Having had experience with them (multiple times in my life) I can tell you it happens. It is also not out of the question, especially if someone makes their own cables. Also, when you have a bad cable, you can see intermittent network issues as Murteas above confirms. Impulse has a very robust error/retry/restart mechanism. The error he is seeing is often (in our experience) du
icen9ne, Hi. Most of the time when Impulse returns that type of error it is a fundamental (usually systemic) issue with some piece of your network equipment. It could be any of the following, so I would try to isolate the issue by replacing these items (use another piece of hardware or work around them) 1) Ne
Hi, Please note that the BETA version of Theme Manager is correctly configured to run with Windows 7. We will work with the development team today to ensure that the BETA is moved into production as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. Zargon
We have not forgotten about you, we will have a fix out shortly. Along with some other bug fixes as well. Zargon
