We had a pretty good chance to beat GW in this years elections. His approval rating was low, people thought the war in Iraq was going badly, that the economy was going badly and that the country needed to go in a new direction. But somehow we managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. So he are my thoughts on what we need to do before 2008 to have a chance:

Probably not. Sharon is very set in his views and it's way to early to know what will come out of the Palesinian camp. Hopefully someone who can reign in Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. There are a lot of zealots to control (on both sides actually). Actually there's already been a program like that on before in Japan. I saw a report about it on some HBO show about sex shows from countries (outside the US). I'm very happy with how OD+ is coming along. I only have 2 minor problems and they're ignorable. 1) the included email checker (by AndreasV) always shows one extra email (1 instead of 0 3instead of 2) and 2) I have a hidden tabbed dock at the bottom of my screen and if I move my mouse all the way to the bottom of my screen it deactivates my open window.
