IMHO the "Bleu" WB-Skin by Alexandrie goes perfectly with the BBX-Mercury stuff. So no use for all the hassle. As a side-info, there will be loads of Icons for Mac and XP in this style. http://www.mmicons.com.

The big advantage is, that You can get rid of the old OS just by formatting or deleting the drive and don't have to edit the boot-manager AND both systems are on C: by default.

How about switching the boot-drives in the BIOS ? I used to do that when I installed a clean XP and wanted to keep my 2k to work on it until I was finished re-installing all the apps on XP. I disconnected the 2k drive first... And installed the new XP drive as C:

Desktop X philosophy is, that it is okay to use other author's DX-objects as long as the author-info remains untouched. Of course Boxxi is right about the wallpapers and other stuff... I have a theme that will remain unreleased because I never could reach the author of the icons I used in there...

Dawn (Gillon) has done a nice IP icon https://www.wincustomize.com/comments.asp?SkinID=113&Lib=18 and Paul (Mormegil) did one for DX https://www.wincustomize.com/comments.asp?SkinID=83&Lib=18 Hopefully more soon ?

Hmmm, this becomes a general discussion about ripping. Again, that was not my point. OS-ports are one aspect, but I spoke of original artwork by mac-artists that is converted without any permission. Although some ports are really good and enhanced with more sizes (and much work) others are simple iconshop-converts quickly thrown into a zip-file. I have received many requests to give away the converted MM-Icons via e-mail, but I will not do that as long as Mikkel Madsen (the original author) does

If Your idea really was not inspired by my screenshot I apologize for that. But : The conversion to png is a matter of permission to me, too. My main point was not this special case but another one... (see subject). If You take a look look at devart's winicon-section You perhaps will understand my rant.

I personally think, that 75 percent of those Mac to XP icon-conversions are done and uploaded without permission... Does anybody else feel bad about that ? I'm still waiting for a certain permission just to see that someone else takes my idea from a screenshot and uploads part of it. (Just a side-note...)
