What are you doing lurking there then?
Oh you're no fun, Brad! You should totally read that place. They're hilarious. It's like a community of utter failures trying to justify their sad state in life by saying they're just too "real" to succeed or that they won't sell out "to the man". These are the dudes that if you met in real life they'd be mousy wimpy twerps but become Internet warriors behind
I'm not sure what you all hope to accomplish by down rating my windowblinds. I'm not amused, I think it's petty, childish and unwarranted. I also believe this kind of harassment violates the TOS for this site and that notifying the powers that be is an appropriate next step.
Are you trolling the people rating your skins?
Quoting Xan, reply 31Your argument would be the same as saying someone is no better than the person who mugged them because they criticized the person who mugged them. in order to make a rational argument, it has to make sense. this does not make sense. Brad is flaming her because she flame him. How about a good rapist analogy while you're passing wind.
I'll dumb it down for ya. Giving
Is the book review by this woman any less trolling as this OP is trolling against her? Although I might call both pieces flaming and not trolling. Trolling is subtle, something said in such a manner as to get the other person's goat without them getting a clue as to what's happening. There are no such subtleties in either her review or this OP. i.e. as a writer you should know the difference (trolling) i.e. your bo

I saw the Oxide announcement ( http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/10/23/industry-veterans-form-oxide-games-prepare-new-cross-platform-engine.aspx ) on Game Informer and noticed this: Oxide Games was founded by a team of industry veterans. They are: Brad Wardell, CEO of Stardock Dan Baker, <span s
Quoting Alstein, reply 33 A successful GalCiv III launch will shut up the folks who still spout off over War of Magic- I can't see a scenario where Brad would allow a sub-par GalCiv III to be released, and now he can look at the game with a lot more critical eye than he could War of Magic. No it won't. If publicly detailing what went wrong, acknowledging their mistakes, r

I don't think it's fair to compare Stardock's handling of Elemental to StarDrive or SOTS2 or Legends of Pegasus. Elemental was a disappointment. I flamed it the week it was released more than anyone. But they made good on it and people seem to ignore that. They made the original War of Magic into a decent game. If you bought it, load it up and play it. It's pretty fun. Not a classic but a lot better than SOTS2 or LoP or those others games. Then then they
Some of the comments remind me of Scott Teneman from a South Park episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbIR51_J_qY
lol. I can picture Matt Gallant as Scott Teneman in this video.
Do not keep the elemental world. The races are too boring. The world is boring. The entire story is the world is grey and dead - what a bland premise with lots of bland art opportunities.
I think you're blaming game mechanics and art you don't like for the world. Master of Magic had the most generic of settings. Barbarians, Halfings, High Men, Lizardman, Nomad, Orc, Beastmen, and High Elves. Talk about the mot uninsp

Where were all these Elemetnal War of Magic fans back in 2010? This read is such a good example of revisionism. The original WOM was a mess. legendary Heroes is so much better because they went in and made e player's choices matter.

@istari, sorry. @boorg. I'm a fan Boy? Lol. l was one of the most prolific posters saying that Demigod needed more multiplayer stress testing before it went out. I was the first War of Magic poster after it shipped to post here that they had failed and it wasn't fun. entitlement isn't having a contrary opinion. Entitlement is demanding changes because you are owed them somehow and using exaggeration and "hyperbole" to imply something that has no basis in real

Ugh. Eador was easily the most disappointing game I've played in the last year. It is so shallow and clunky. It's one of the few times I would say that someone who likes that game would probably not like LH or vice versa.

Not to mention, FB was, ironcially right. Anyoen who bought War of Magic the following February would never have known that the game had trouble when it first came out. Legendary Heroes could ship 0.80 and be considered a good game. Nobody thought WOM was a good game. If you at my posting history, I was one of the first people to condemn WOM when it shipped.
He may have phrased it badly but he isn't wrong. A number of people, myself included, have posted asking what the future is for FE now that LH is on it's way and not had much of a reply until now, and, lets face it, 1.4 is hardly a massive patch and we have no info at all as to what 1.5 is likely to include but I'm betting it's not much other than the odd bug fix. It's up to Stardock where they put the effort,
