Does anyone have ANY reason that the wallpaper section even needs to be here? Frogboy's right, IMHO, and it is just filled with crap. Well, not neccesarily filled, but it has a lot of junk in there. If we got rid of it, it would probably inspire people to skin more instead of just saying 'Hmm, this looks kinda cool, lets see if it gets through!'. It would increase bandwidth (always a plus) and it would make the Moderators job a bit easier I think. If someone wanted to put a wall onli

No. You couldnt. No. Probably not. Yes.

I'm making a skin for media player with two windows. One is the normal window and the other is the video window. When I put the normal window VIEW before the other video VIEW then the normal window is visible but there is no video. When I put the video VIEW first, it shows up but no normal window. Its really wierd and I cant get them both to show up at the smae time. Anyone have any clues on this problem? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
Thanx Pacific!
I'm always ready to help out if you need it.
note: VideoWin will have to be changed depending on what you named the visualization area.
I got it!! OnClick="VideoWin.fullScreen=true;" This should work! GOod luck.
I've been trying to get this to work since I started skinning and I just cant figure it out. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this. The WinMedia SDK isnt telling me what I want to know. I know someone out there should be able to help me. Please! I would really appreciate a response ASAP. This is for a special skin. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif
I agree. You know what would be cool? Star trek! But this symbol (©) is annoying in that respect.
You should be able to use zIndex to put it on top of the visuals. So long as the zIndex value for the button is larger that the zIndex for the visual you're able to see it. I dont know how to assign a specific visualization to the skin but maybe some hunting around in the WinMedia SDK will solve that problem. If this: onClick="visEffects.next(); will let you switch to the next visualization, then you should be able to figure out how to tell it to stitch to a certain one. Good luck! <img sr
Grr, I cant find much on it. The WMP SDK is not very clear on it at all. I'm nort sure how you do it. Maybe alt+enter is the default. Maybe you could set up an onClick event to trigger these keys or something.
Clive Cussler is really good. Stumpy, have you read the Kurt Austin books he has wrote? They are really good. He co-writes them with someone else.
I'm gonna try to integrate video into my WMP skin, but I havent had much luck with that. I'll try though!
I'm working on trying to figure out how. I got your email. He means the visualizations in WMP. Any help anyone else has would be good.
There is no ball, Neo...
Kermit! And oscar the grouch! Oh wait, does Old Crab have dibs on Oscar?
Haha those are funny!
Elopement perhaps?
I think something with dark blue, gray and black will be good. Mostly abstract but with some horizontal and vertical lines to give it structure. But for the most part, its up to you I think.
#141 - I think that that is basicly the messegboard's General and Help sections, spaceboy2005.
Notepad or some other text editor. YOu need an image editor too. If you look around on the Microsoft site, you should be able to scrounge up a downloadable SDK for it.
#3 - Thats exactly how I learned too! I still do alot of stuff like that.
This is gonna be awesome!! Whoah! Since when can I edit my comments?!
Thats gotta be embarrasing for you AND her!
