Your corn stove saves power right? Just that one thing probably saves more power than everything I do around my house. Not that's its a competition, heh.
It saves propane more than anything. It is more cost effective electrically due to it being mainly radiant heat, but the big difference is propane. Corn is renewable after all, and CO2 neutral.
I just heard on the news the other day that the spiral fluorescent lights can lead to more migrain
I can't see spending money that you aren't going to be able to reasonably recover in some period of time. Mainly because the longer it takes to recoup your investment, the less impact your improvements actually have.
Amen to that. When we built our current home, we were concerned with efficiency, but there weren't many contractors that really had a clue. I would love to retrofit the house, but it is so very expensive that I can't justify it. We hav
"Let me be clear, the high prices which we are witnessing are not because of any shortage of crude oil in the market," the cartel's chief Badri said in an email to AFP.
I think there may be some things that are not clear with this whole thing. Yes, there is a enough crude oil being produced, but that does not mean that the supply to the US is enough. Just because the oil exists, does not mean that they are selling as much to the US as needed at this point.
But one thing which really gets to me, like a place on my back I can't quite scratch, is this whole OPEC and oil problem we have. Every time I go to the pump, every time I see OPEC holding the rest of the world hostage, I reach to dig my nails in the itch.

So imagine my horror when I turned on the tv yesterday and saw GW, not holding up an old west reward poster promising millions to the industrious, but walking down a marble shrouded hallway in the middle east with
The point is I don't lie. What did I make up to reconcile a myth.
You didn't even understand your own quote. It said "create elaborate myths to reconcile them with other facts". It didn't say reconciling a myth, it said making up a myth and reconciling it/them with facts. Don't quote things you find online unless yo understand what they mean. Fact: She said she was something, not something else. Myth: you assumed that it needed a "beca
In psychology, mythomania (also known as pseudologia fantastica or pathological lying) is a condition involving compulsive lying by a person with no obvious motivation. The affected person might believe their lies to be truth, and may have to create elaborate myths to reconcile them with other facts.
And your point was? "The affected person might believe their lies to be truth, and may have to create elaborate myths to reconcile them with other facts"

I usually self diagnose then tell the Dr what to look for. It saves a lot of time that way. I only have 2 Drs that I like right now. Luckily, one is my Rheumatologist. She actually listens and will admit if she doesn't know something. However, she will research for me and call me later to help out. The other one is actually my Daughter's Dr. She should really be retired, but she keeps practicing. She's very attentive and doesn't make quick judgmen
I said it was a mistake on my part what more can I say.
then you said: "about automatically putting a because into a sentence that needed one" You then went on to rationalize why you put it there and that it was her writing, not you incomprehension that was at fault. That's not exactly admitting to a mistake.
and I already stated that I was sorry about automatically putting a because into a sentence that needed one. if she had said I am a housewife not a computer expert or I am not a computer expert I am a housewife. then I wouldn't have taken it as an excuse.
First of all, the sentence didn't *NEED* a "because" entered into it. It made perfect sense the way it was. YOU just decided it was an excuse and put it in there. So, because you don't

I hate the ER. I won't go unless I am in so much pain that I can't stand, sit or lay down without crying. I hate Drs. Not ALL Drs are useless sacks of meat, but finding a good one is like finding a needle in a haystack. I'm not even going to start or I'll never shut up....

Actually, the officer was being a jerk by doing that. 5 over? Please. And, typically, if you have a clean record they just give you a warning. Yet people drive 70 mph past my house and you never see a cop out here....
My protest has everybusiness being here. "Here" is America. The First Amendment ensures my right to do so. I have not espoused a viewpoint insulting to anyone. Mr. Kuperman has. Again, I ask why a blog such as his appears where it has no point being?
Actually, any viewpoint that is espoused will insult somebody. So, you really can't ever claim that you weren't insulting. I am sure that the way you have referred to Kupe (who is Jewish) is probably insulti
