"Are you afraid?" "umm.. no" "arrrrgh.....now?" "no" "ARRRGH.....now?" "no" "godamit. um, oh, I mean... ALLAH damnit" just way too funny. Z71, I agree: Walter for President, with Peanut for VP
and pushing my stubborn pride back in my pocket, let me appologize to everyone for my rude outburst back in the "Moderators please read" thread. After reading and re-reading that thread several times in the last few days, I've decided that SydneySiders and Jafo gave some really good advice and that I could also benefit from their words of wisdom to Sublime. So with that advice in mind, I created the KylieBootskin and uploaded it a few mins ago. I also downloaded LoginStudio and LoginStu
That was too funny. I like Jeff Dunham, first time I saw him was in the mid 80's with just Peanut at a club in Georgetown. My sides hurt from laughing that night. If you haven't seen it, go get "Arguing with myself" available at Wal-Mart for about $10.00. Dave "sucide bomber. What's that all about? ah eah eah..... boom... YEAH REAL GOOD... Lets see you do it again! Dumbass" --> Walter
I've not had any BAD experiences with Vista, just some major 3rd party software issues. I'm running Vista Business on a Dell Laptop. its a 3G processor, 2G ram and 2X 130G HD. Screams with the XPpro disk in it. Runs fine with the Vista Disk. My biggest issue is going to be: before I can roll out Vista here at the office, I'm going to have to upgrade 35 machines and replace another 40, and just can't justify that cost with the issues I'm having trying to run our Medical Billing, EMR and Document
Thanks guys.
1. does bootskin work with Vista? 2. Does Logon Studio Vista make logins for XP as well and does it skin the login (in Vista) for Active Directory logins? well I guess technically that was 3 questions. I asked because under Stardock Central I no longer see the regular Logon Studio, just the Vista one. Dave
that's just too cool.
maybe I wasn't clear.. I ment as far as walls go.. not the blinds... I've been here for 4 years and don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. I'm enjoying the fourms now that I have a job that enables me enough free time to participate and have learned a good bit in the last couple of weeks.
I don't know.. I'm kinda split on the personal pages. On one hand I like having a place I can display the things I make without having to buy my own domain. On the other hand, I wish it was somehow linked to the main search so I don't have to do the whole self promotion gig. It feels like begging and I don't like doing it. So for now, I'll finish the WB I started and will prob never put anything else up here, I'll put it up somewhere like DA where it can be searched and found with out me begging
ok.. after reading all of this the only conclusion I can come to is that there should be a butt-load of walls that are in personal pages. my question is this: How to I find them? or how do they find mine? I just uploaded the wall to go with the skin I've been working on. The skin is going slowly, but the wall was easy so I figured I'd go ahead a post it. It was approved and put on my personal page. Was a little confused about that since I KNOW I did NOT check the "load to personal page only" box
Thanks fuzzy, you just reminded me of something to check before I do my Exchange 2007 migration this weekend : find a way to script the new exchange machine name to all of the clients, or put a printed memo on everyone's desk to walk them through the new settings. either way looks like monday is going to be a LONG day. Dave
Never trouble Trouble till Trouble troubles you, for if you trouble Trouble, Trouble is sure to trouble you.
dang.. and I just re-sub'd yesterday.. Dave Admin - Edited out the image. Wasn't relevant or appropriate
Thanks Craig. I wasn't real happy with the start button anyway so a re-work is no big deal. I want the start button to be half on/half off the task bar with the a transparent background so I will take a look at Kali and see if I can figure it out. Also I think the figure is facing the wrong way so she'll get a flip. I think I can shrink her a little more without loosing the shape detail. any good reference for what average sizes work well as particular parts? like XX by YY for buttons o
I have a wacom saphire, but not a clue how to use it.
Thanks NightTrain.. it's on the way.
can't figure out why this is happening. I know my taskbar/startbutton et al are kinda on the large side, but this is just for play and to learn skinning. when I select my skin in the control panel, it looks like its supposed to. but.. when I apply it: it gets squished verticly and gets WA
Probably the most complte product too.
Complete even.
I like 3DS Max, however, I've been keeping an eye on Carrara now that its owned by Daz3D. I've never used Cinema4D so I can't speak for it. Carrara Express is available for less than $100.00 ($19.99 if you are a Daz Platinum Club Member). I do a lot of work in Poser 6 and its time comsuming at best and sometimes problematic to import any animation longer than about 120 frames to 3DS Max. Saving my pennies for Carrara, just emptied the piggy bank upgrading from WB6 to the Full OD product.<br/
Wellll, this is going a lot slower than I first anticipated.lol.so many little parts.. I have a long way to go yet, but when this is done, what do I do to get some beta-testers? Dave
working on an animation for my first ever WB, KylieWB1, I have the animation in 3 formats: a 60 layer psd, a gif, and individual frame files in psd. I'm looking for a good, free if possible, program to convert/edit an avi file. any suggestions? Dave Preview of animation.. its big now, 700+Kb, but just so I can work on the detail.. its nowhere near complete.
Yup, I do the same thing, I type in something a little outrageous, -2000 or -3000, this sends it far enough off the screen that you don't see it at all when the please wait dialog appears on the screen. - nice screenshot, can't wait to see the finished project - what's the name of your wb skin?
Thanks y'all. Unclerob, no
