Help with windowblinds skin problem. in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I was just wondering if there is any way to move where it says (new programs installed) by the all programs bar or button or whatever you call it, anyway where it says new programs installed is kind of to the left, any way to change it?

I was just wondering if you can do more detailed type of stuff with photoshop. I have paint shop 8 and was just noticing alot of people who have made really detailed things, have photoshop. Can you really do more stuff with it, or does it just make detaled type stuff alot easier?

Problem with windowblinds and wallpaper? in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

I don't know what kind of problem this is or if there's a solution but anyway, I have this wallpaper and i'ts size is little so instead of choosing to stretch it( which makes it look bad) I choose to center it and choose a background color for it, but everytime the computer restarts or just starts it chooses a different color, other than what I chose for it. It seems to go with the windowblinds skin but i'ts not the color I chose. Is there any solution or is that just the way it is? Richard

It's just a digital clock plug-in, which I made a background for and configure the time to a 12 hour clock instead of 24 hour clock like it starts with and then I just save the object as a dxpack, but everytime I load it it goes back to 24 hour clock instead of 12 hour clock that I changed it to. It says 13:04:22 to start with so I configure it to say 1:04 p.m. and then save it as dx pack but when I reload it it goes back to 13:04:22 I guess that is just the way it is.

It starts out on a 24 hour clock, say it reads 13:04:22 and I make a background for it, and configure the clock to say 1:04 P.M. and then I export it and save it as digital clock and when I load it it goes back to 13:04:22 everytime. Doesn''t seem to want to be saved as 1:04: P.M., keeps returning to origional set. Any ideas? [Message Edited]

I just want to know why when I configure the desktop x digital clock plug-in to how I like it, and then save it, it always changes back to the way it was when I load it, not like I set it.

Angled corners, windowblinds? in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I've noticed alot of windowblind skins have angled corners and I was just wondering how they do it. I have paint shop 8 and I can make a rectangle or square but I was just wondering how to make the corners angled, like 45 degrees or less. Just curious how it's done. I'm real new to this, so I don't have a clue how to do this or even if it's possible with this program. Let me know, Thanks, Richard

I have paint shop which I made some pictures with 4 bit 16 colour and they looked allright , but when I made a progress bar the same way it screwed the whole picture up. Do you have any idea why this would happen? Richard [Message Edited]

I was trying to make a bootskin and got it to work but the picture didn't look all that good. I just want to know if there's a trick to make them look smoother and clearer, beacause mine looked really grainy. Thanks, Richard

yrag-Thanks for all your help but I'm going to send it back. Got it to work but what a hassle for somebody whose never done anything like this before.Also didn't see any difference so I guess I'll just stick with what I have. Thanks again, Richard

I was only able to set it to 1024x768 and when I was on desktop nothing seemed to work. So I ended up putting it back like it was Do I need to uninstall other graphic controller or what. I'm afraid I'm still not doing something right. Richard

Got it to work kind of, I guess, but didn't really like the resolution size anyway thanks for all your help I think I'll just stick with it the way it is unless you have any other suggestions. Just wanted to be able to set it to 32 bit not just 24 like I have it, because of a certain screensaver I have that will only work on 16 or 32 bit, but I like the 24 bit setting better. yrag, please read this-Richard, having understood the issue correctly, I would like to tell you that in your system you have integrated video but since you have brought a video card that can only be fixed in one or the other other PCI slot, but as you told that all the PCI slots are full no one of them is vacant and as per my records there are four PCI cards already installed in your system i.e Modem, Audio card, Ethernet card and the last one is the firewire card and
