I rather have dev streams then the vault. With streams I get lots of good info and hear answers to questions.
ForesterSOF
Yes a tech demo for the Nitrous engine that they are using to make a game.

Devs; please add PBSC capabilities and an option to password protect a civ to multiplayer games in an expansion. This should be much easier and cost less then actual PBEM. As far as processing the turn maybe the first or last player's computer will as part of their turn.
In the Steam forums they were taking about the steam cloud so instead of PBEM we could have PBSC.
Quoting jbbrower, reply 5 Idea: Instead of PBE, what about a campaign server mode. It's an interesting idea, but it seems like the demand for this would be too low to be worth it.
We are the .1%. If we get even th
I have not gone all the way but from my looking it looks like all parties need to meet and make a multiplayer game and save it. Then as each opens the game, logs in, plays, saves, email. The problem would be if anyone changes the game in any way durring playing. I do not know how much it would take for the save to not work. If they could just add passwords for each player as optional then 2-4 person games would be posible. I have also wondered if a
The problem is it winds up being a 1 person at a time email game. The other is ATM there is no passwords so the other players could log in to you and thus have complete intel on you.
How advanced the planets are is up to you. That way you can go all one planet, spread it among all or a combination; it is all up to you. Warning not all components are in. I personally like a combo of both depending on the needs.

Or an option to remove it if you do not need it and a way to bring it back in gamve if you find out you really need it.
c:\Users\ForesterSOF\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3\Mods\ But like said the game is still in Beta. After the game is released I see MODs being created.
I am the odd one. I say no for I zoom in and out as needed. The MM is a waste of space for me.
97 and growing.
sonds like the Vorlons and Shadows in Babylon 5.
Galactic Civilization III (64 bit)
I herd in the stream that espionage will be put off to an expansion. I hope they put it in the first.
I learned it a querky.
Are you running a 64-bit OS?
Makes sence. The exe could not find the OS files it needed so no go.
Top left corner click on the III icon to get into the menu.
Anti boarding parties troops so ship can not be taken by pirates or others.
All or partially glass a planet using regular or a special ship.
That is the plan for the future.
1. Nothing specific just as many options and dialog as posible. Make one thing they are talking to a person. 2. Multiplayer games lasted only a few hundred. Playing alone right now I am at 1000+ and dragging the game out as much as I can. 3. IMHO a good stratagy game would make you think. Work requires about 2% of brain power so do this to think and relax.
