Wallpaper - .jpeg or .bmp? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

On my old OS Windows 98se I could only download my wallpapers as .bmp as I didn't use active desktop and to use .jpeg wallpapers I had to have active desktop activated. I have now changed to Windows XP Pro, how do I stand in the wallpapers department, can I use .bmp or .jpeg now and if so which is the best format, or am I still limited.

Is it just me or is the rectangle box very top right of the screen white and blank and the 2 little ones at the very bottom are empty boxes with little red 'x's ' in the corner?, I ask coz I've just got a new OS and am wondering if it's displaying the page properly.

Aquarium Blind User Pic? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I've just downloaded the Aquarium Blind by Alexandrie and applied the User Pic. It is showing as a blue square with a pink border..is this right or am I missing part of the picture? Sorry if I sound dumb but I'm a newbie to Blinds.

I have just got Windows XP, upgrading from 98 and I've just installed my Windows Blinds and I can't believe the difference it's awesome!!!, the blinds look soooooo much better on XP!!!
