Yes, you can Scroll but it does not work correctly. It malfunctions most of the time when you try to push the screen with the mouse. You have to back up and do it again to make the screen move. It also Scrolls very slow even set to 100%. This is my preferred way to play, and it is for me, the biggest drawback to the game, in the sense it is frustrating, so it sucks some of the fun away. Here is a link to a post I made regarding this issue as well. https://foru

I currently have the Scroll set to 100% and it is still very slow. Also, pushing the mouse to the edge (e.g. bottom edge) of the screen does not move the screen many times. You have to move the mouse cursor up and then push the edge again a second time to make it work. Is it possible to be able to remap the Arrow Keys so they act as a window movement keys and not ship movement? This would allow users to have a choice and be able to use the mouse to select items, ships,

click on the minimap were you want to go Yes I know this, but you should not have to work around a problem such as moving your screen around. This is a game mechanic that is integral to the very playing of the game. Please, Stardock you mind giving some insight on this issue, please? Thank You

I finally got my game in the mail and I like it a lot. I have one issue though and that is the speed and lack of response of the edge scrolling of the main window. I have the Scroll set to 100% and it is still very slow. Also, pushing the mouse to the bottom of the screen does not move the screen many times. you have to move the mouse cursor up and then push the edge again a second time to make it work. I would be happy if the Arrow keys moved the window around

Well, in my little town I went to the only store with hope of taking a picture at Wal-Mart, but they do not have any in stock. I even called the one a few towns over and they do not have any in stock yet either. So, there is no real hope of getting a picture unless the little Wal-Mart was on the list to their (single) copy!

And just think of the tech name... MOO, MOO 2, MOO 3, ... That is rather funny. MOO 3 would be the tech that would “utterly” fail and cause all future hopes for such techs to vanish, and cause a huge section of your population to abandon you as the undisputed leader. In other words MOO3 would indeed go, “splat!”

Well, I saw 2 copies today at Best Buy, but I did not know about this thread until now (7:30 EST). I live one hour away from the Best Buy (in a rather small town), so that picture I will be unable to get.

I always bought from EB over GameStop whenever I could, but since GameStop has taken over, EB has gone in the dumpster. I do not fault EB but the fact that GameStop has likely cut staff knowing that EB will be no more shortly. I will send my copy back if it comes in the regular Box, and look until I find it in a local Wal-Mart instead. I know Stardock has no control in this area, but this is by far the worst experience of ordering a game I have ever had, period.

Just got off the phone with EB, (after 4 attempts today waiting on hold for 20 minutes at a time before I hung up. Too bad GameStop took over.) and was told that in their system they do not have a listing for a Regular Edition and a Collectors Edition. The person told me it was likely the Red Box version that shipped. I have to wait until next week now for it to arrive, but I would like to know where did all the CE Boxes go if they did not end up at the proper destinations? <br

Yes there is. If you have a first run issue of the game (and you do since you just got it) then you will get the downloadable extras. This is directly from the Home page here. Just scroll down a bit to the topic: Collector's Edition Special Content Some retailers who took pre-orders didn't order the Collector's Edition SKU. No problem, w

Okay, would someone who knows let me know if this is the correct Driver. I am running an... AMD 64 x2 4200+ DFI nF4 SLI-DR Expert Nvidia 6800GT 2 Gig Ram X-Fi Platinum My Driver Info says the following: Provider: Microsoft Driver Date: 4/1/2004 Driver Version: 5.1.2600.0 Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Publisher What should I do if anything? Thank you

Well, a big part of the incentive to pre-order is gone at this point. I am not sure what we will get now that the game did not ship. If it amounts to a few extra parts for the ships (that everyone will get in the first run), just seems a bit sparse. I am not upset, but simply disappointed.

Well, I am bummed. I really like the extra stuff and enjoy tech trees. I thought it was a good thing to order from a store to help give the game longevity on the shelves as stated. If not many stores got the pre-orders, how many Tech Trees were produced in the first place? I understand waiting and no trouble with that, but what happens to all the stores that took pre-orders from people that are expecting to receive what the pre-order promised? Any

Also there's a poster sized tech tree and silver box (for what that is?)...How will those who do not recieve them in the shipped box recieve them. I wondered about the Printed Tech Tree myself? It is one reason I pre-ordered from EB. Mine is a EB Games Pre-order, but not sure if they are getting the collectors edition of not when it

Transparency is key. Be open and honest with people and MOST people will respect that. Tell people what problems you think you have and what problems you think you don't have and let people decide for themselves. Don't try to "control" the flow of information. Stay ahead of the curve and make sure you are the one telling people what's going right and wrong. </T

I would think if there is an issue (which I can not imagine) all it would take is a fax (or forward of email to SD) of your confirmation email showing ordering before the release date. Well, at least I am trusting so as I ordered form EB Games as well.

Is it possible for Stardock, to help dual core users who are less than programmers to work through this issue? I checked the links, but I do not fully understand the first link and what one is suppose to do, nor do I run Windows x64, and the last link does not seem to help me understand things any better of what I would have to do. I have yet to receive my copy from EB Games but if I have issues I am wondering if I have trouble... 1. Will SD update GCII to run on
