Try using Stardock Central, it's stuck on a version of WB6. Not sure if the download works, but it's worth a try.

So you want Fences to basically be a GNOME port to Explorer?
Er, this is a thread from 2007

SKS7 is listed as a separate app in Impulse, so you might have to scroll down a bit to see it.
Ah, thanks!
I get the same Z71, but the tooltip background section does actually pop up on the right pane.
I thought that was pretty helpful hiding clutter when updating a skin. Another thing I found much improved is the code editor (being able to switch between, add, and remove sections is great)
1) Vista/7 get a nice glass border around these popups on the taskbar.. could these be skinned? 2) 7 has an outline similar to pinned taskbar items on tray items (on the taskbar and the systray popup) when hovered; it would be nice if these could be skinned too. In addition, the Show Desktop button doesn't work with the mouse in the bottom right corner as it does with Aero (the cursor must be moved up a bit for it
Another thing, the skin wallpaper manager displays an error "The parameter is incorrect" many times and then closes if I click in the big box where wallpapers are presumably supposed to go.
Working on a Windows 7 update of my old skin NoiX :)
Yeah, the all programs background does nothing, neither does expanding start menu. Also, the Preview Popup > Preview item SKS says has 3 frames, but it is actually only one.
Okay, the Show Windows 7 start button option seems to be inserting ShowWinFlag=1 into the skin rather than ShowWin7Flag=1. This ought to be fixed!
Already ate my turkey, happy thanksgiving WC!
Neil, maybe it would be a good idea to hide some controls that aren't usable with the installed edition of SKS?
Opening the Tooltip section makes the sidebar show Textures in this build. Also, there seems to be two 'no image defined' at the top of the images list. Also, 'separator' is spelled wrong for menu items.
1) The taskbar can't be translucent without DWM- this is an image for a solid taskbar. 2) I don't think it's for UIS2 frames. I haven't tried this yet myself, but from my experience making shadows on perpixel frames was a pain in the buttocks to get correct, so this should just make things easier.
I have a few questions..... What are 'non DWM taskbars'? What is the 'sync' button for in the painting margins section? What are the 'Vista/7 Shadows' for in the perpixel frames and the USI2 frames? 1) No DWM means Aero isn't on or isn't supported on the system- basically the Vista/7 Basic theme mode 2) Beats me. 3) Lets you separate the shadows from the frame image
Yesss!!! Edit: This build kicks ---! Edit 2: The show Windows flag on the Win7 taskbar option isn't working.
"Use small icons" makes it the same height as the Vista taskbar, which is the same height (possibly + or - one or two pixels) as XP.
Not seeing it in Impulse.
Snow Leopard: Wallpaper from Vladstudio. Windows is currently a work in progress :)
I noticed that skin previews use the incorrect font on the Explorer command bar- looks like MS Sans Serif rather than Segoe UI. Picky, I know, but looks extremely out of place :) Another thing: the Updates icon that appears on the start menu Shut Down button never seems to get padded. Just got this upon closing wbconfig- Problem signature: Problem Event Name: &n
