No, and no. Welcome to Vista (none of those issues are in 7.)

All it does is disable the Homegroup functionality, networking should still be fine (it is for me at least) Of course, be sure to record the previous setting in case things don't work right.

To remove the Homegroups section, open services.msc and disable the HomeGroup services.
Engadget's review of this phone shows that it's significantly slower than the iPhone.

If you're using XP, just ctrl-alt-del a couple times and you should be back in business.
I'd go out to take photos of Maine but the 18 inches we've got is blocking my doors.
Have you tried my suggestion to restore the tabs?
Try clicking the Impulse menu and check "Show freeware & demos" and "Show hidden applications." That should get your tabs back.

One minor annoyance I've had with WB7 is that the right-click menu on skins is gone, causing me to move my hand more :( Could we please have it back?
