Frankly, Edge is not for me and I shall stick to Firefox until something better comes along
Something better has come along. It's called Chrome. Faster than Firefox. Uses less memory than Firefox. And honestly if you use an Android smartphone you already use Google products so why bother believing Chrome is crap?

Yeah, no worries, I uninstalled all the software it came with, basically I went back to a vanilla install. Then I added my programs of choice. Still thinking of putting Windowblinds on here, it would be the first time I have used Stardock software in years.

Jafo I was surprised to find almost no bloatware on here on the first boot. Maybe 5 to 7 programs I uninstalled quickly and easily. Other than my diabetic eyes having to adjust to a smaller screen the laptop isn't too bad.

I wasn't looking to buy a computer with or without a SSD drive, it's just what it came with. All I use my computer for is web browsing, word processing, and playing 10 year old games. So a traditional hard drive would have been fine. And 8 GB of RAM is more than enough for me. It's a notebook. Of course it has integrated video.

Not sure everyone knows but for the longest time I was using a All-In-One HP computer. I was old, made around 2012. it had a dual-core Pentium G850 CPU @ 2.2 GHz, 4GB of DDR3, 500 GB 5400 RPM hard drive, and barely ran Windows 10. I upgraded the system with a 256 GB SSD and it ran decent enough, but I figured now was a good time to upgrade my computer to something better and newer. The only saving grace the old computer has was a 23" screen. I wanted to go back to a laptop, so I got a HP. It

I upgraded for free a few months ago. However my roommate is sticking to 7 because she fears using Windows 10 and has too many bad things about it. :/

So it's literally been 5+ years since I logged into my "kona0197" account over at DA. Tried to log in the other night and was blocked! Wrong password. So I tried to reset my password. Apparently they gave DA a major facelift, and in the process my password must have gotten lost because when I emailed them about the issue they say that the username is not associated with my email and the birthdays on record do not match. I've always used the alias "kona0197". So I'm guessing I got kicked out w

I'm old school. Still running at AIO setup from 2012. Intel Pentium G850 4 GB DDR3 256 SSD Intel graphics Windows 10 Pro Works fine for me. Haven't found a need to upgrade quite yet. Jafo - When you gonna step up to a AMD Threadripper CPU?

I get these errors every time I try to install the latest Windows 7 updates. Google hasn't revealed much info to how to cure the issue, I've done everything I know how to do to solve it. Any ideas? I'm trying to install updates KB915597, KB4486563 and KB4486565.

I might be overreacting. Actually did a stopwatch on the system, 24 seconds from hitting the power switch to when the password dialog and chime are presented and heard, after password entry 4 seconds to a fully usable desktop with wifi connected and all startup programs loaded.
