Unprotected? Try something else then. I use AVG for virus scanning and Zone Alarm for firewall. Both have free versions, if pricing is an issue.

Is it dangerous to hunt bugs? Do they ever fight back or are they more into running away and hiding? What do you do with them when you find them?
