The tram ride is fantastic, well, parts of it is anyway. I wont spoil any surprises. Also make sure you take the Griphon rides. [And word of warning: do NOT take these griffin rides in EQ2 - they SUCK]
Yea, the lag issues were nasty during the beta as well. They released a press-release stating that they were working on it.. funny, the open beta had these same issues.. could'nt they have.. I know.. like, extended the beta period to fix those issues before release. There is still a lot of time left before christmas. Hope the euro version has this issue fixed before release - but with VU France I fear the hardware will be lacking. MobMaster:
Ah, remember a friend of mine did that quest pretty quickly.. Well, he did everything pretty quickly in EQ. [And when you camp a dungeon alone for more than 100 hours.. you need help]. You were a necromancer? ONly had a poor lil' ol' rouge in EQ... never made it past level 27. Good news; Have not heard "Hun" at all today in EQ2.

This server is lagged? Damn. I thought they said that would be fixed by launch. The beta lagged because - (insert pr excuses here) - but that was supposed to be fixed. doh. Well well.. It will probbaly only be for the first few levels, as people start moving out of the newbie zones into different areas and instanced dungeons. enjoy the game, i did... (in the beta)
I loved it a lot in the beta.. and now that I am playing WoW I miss it more and more as I level up. EQ2 has good quests.. well.. they have a lot of quests.. they're not "morrowind good" but they are ok.. but, i'd rather do fed-ex quests in woW

i don't know really what is "wrong" with EQ2....just it never really grabbed me....maybe it was the setting.....i don't really know. I just know it didn't....and WoW totally has.... The housing issue pretty much ruined original UO world.. whereas T2A had a 'few' issues with playerkillers. I myself played a "Honorable" anti-pk on the Atlantic server.. and had a more "shady" reputation on Drachenfels. (Europa server). Yea, I have met some of the 'oldskool' EQ 1 players there. (Easily recognized by them calling you hun). I'm just doing quests myself... my quest journal is always full.. I am just having trouble doing them all.
