Wrath_of_Dog: Ohh.... Well, haven't seen the 3rd season yet. Hasn't reached Germany till now. Taking about horrible schedules, we can only see reruns of season 1 at quarter past eleven wednesday night. It's right after double-episodes of Stargate though! LOL ~SDC~
Well, no offense taken but I still got the impression that some of you people got it majorly wrong. And because American people often (not always) tend to ignore non-American views (esp. European ones), which is really a shame that they do, I will stop trying to impose my views on you. I do not feel the need to force my views and opinions upon the whole world. With this, my final statement in this discussion conludes. Signing off, Fabian ~SDC~
PS: Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster anyone? No? OK... :) :p ;p :d :D LOL :notsure: :( (:( :sniff!: :CONGRAT: ~SDC~
Hey Phaedyme: Didn't know that, thanx. Only visited Gladstone, Queensland, Australia. With the beatiful Barrier Reef right in front of it and lots of time to surf! LOL (Dreaming of the Queensland sun) Wrath_of_Dog: But you can't get to Tarn Vedra any more! Remember? All slipstream routes are lost! ;p ~SDC~
Two observations: First: You seem to misunderstand or do not know of the difference between SOCIALISM and COMMUNISM. Be advised, there actually IS one. COMMUNISM is "the stuff that never worked and never will" as you said. You know like in the Soviet Union. That was not SOCIALISM. COMMUNISM is based on SOCIALISM and extends it. For example, Germany, Spain, Italy and several other countries are governed by SOCIALIST parties (or semi-socialist parties) in the moment. Once and for all: SOC
Oh yes... and the "Gladstone" system... Has Brad been to Australia? ~SDC~
He he he... Nice one Frogboy! ~SDC~
Great! Thanks to the team! You rock!!! :) ~SDC~
Hey... Alderaan? Isn't that one gone a long time now? "Terror" star, remember? :p ~SDC~
Just noticed .052 is out. Man the support for this game is incredible! Stardock should win a prize for their commitment! Where can I suggest them? :CONGRAT: ~SDC~
Ahhh yes... ~SDC~
Nice idea.... ~SDC~
Hey Frogboy, did you only implement American policies? I noticed a little reference to Ancient Greek in the Democracy Tech text... ~SDC~
*BUMP* I was thinking *exactly* the same! ~SDC~
Frogboy: Although your political views do worry me a little bit (been reading on your site ;) ) I must say that you seem to be a *very*, *very* nice person. LOL I must genuinely thank you for this truely remarkable game! Keep that stuff coming... LOL ~SDC~
B L, the purpose is not to always oppose the others. It's just that political parties in Germany and generally in Europe have firm, counterexposed ideas and views and are *very* clearly defined. A lot of people vote for another party every election but most who stick with one *really* identify with those views. If they state them openly it's very hard to turn the other way without appearing to be a political opportunist. The difference to the american system is the greater variety of parties (f
Thanks for the explanation, sixtoes! :) ~SDC~
Looks like it... ~SDC~
If you consider American parties compared to german ones... well, from our perspective they're all the same, really. There's a much greater variety in the european political spectrum. For example: If the german Chancellor & his party pass a law (no matter what), the opposition (nearly) always has got exactly the other opinion. In US politics there are a lot of occasions (mostly the important ones) where the opposition will mostly agree to the President's viewpoint. I don't say this is negative,
??? Don't get it, sixtoes... ~SDC~
It works with my savegames from .02! Funny, that... :notsure: ~SDC~
Oh yes: And why are you called "Frogboy"? I know I'm a pain... :p ~SDC~
Ahh yes. Got it! ~SDC~
How do they got to that formula? (I'm not a math genius so don't reply talking math-gibberish please) ~SDC~
