i'm running WB on two pc's. SDCentral tells me to install 4.19xbeta for my Windows ME pc, but central only shows the same build as WB4 for XP. Anyone know where to download it?

When I started SDCentral this morning, there was an update for skin studio standard, and a choice to install skinstudio pro. like a dummy, i upgraded standard first. When I went back to do pro, there was no upgrade available, it showed the same build as standard. I thought the programs merged, but when i start skin studio and click on media player skins, i'm told I have to purchase object desktop first, but I already have it. no problems, except windowblinds don't install automatically anymore. have to save in windowblinds folder, and click on the .wba file. not a prob unless you are lazy, which i am.

Thanks Sir Phoon, I re-installed the latest beta, and export works. It takes you to the same screen you got when you told it to save in earlier versions.

I should have been more specific. I had v. 1.99[b].oo2 installed. It was v. .003 that wasn't saving. I re-installed .003, still no save, so I restored .002, and everything is fine.

I just updated DeskX with the new beta. Everything seems to be working, except that nothing happens when I try to save a theme. I re-started a couple of times, the theme I just created loads up, but it isn't listed with the rest of the themes. Before I restore the previous build, has this happened to anyone else, or any ideas?

I had Object Bar v.1.6.003 installed. I told Stardock Central to show pre-release versions, and v.1.60a[b].001 showed up, and I updated. But now when I go to Central, it shows v.1.6.003 available as an update to the version I just installed. Which is the newest version, The beta, or the version I had?

Found launchpad when I started using Stardock Central. I have a Logitec keyboard, and have two pc's networked together and sharing a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor via a Lynksys 2 port switch. the logitec software for the multi-function keys never worked right switching back and forth between the two pc's. if you mean one of the microsoft screens, then go to display, and under themes pick windows xp, and apply it. Then you can re-skin as necessary, just don't change your wallpaper. If that wasn't what you meant, I hope it helped someone.

update: Besides the things I tried yesterday, I also downloaded the latest display drivers ( direct from NVidia ). I installed them this morning (even 'tho windows told me they hadn't approved them yet) and everything is working great. I have WB, Icon Packager, , Cursor XP, and FX turned on, have three browser windows running, and WinMX running, and no freezes or crashes yet. Update: good news and bad news. I still can't defrag, but at least I can tell everyone that reads this, that Stardock programs have nothing to do with it. I deleted a corrupted icon file, and my pc has frozen only twice today, not too unusual for windows. To answer earlier questions, there is never an error message. If the pc does freeze, it can happen half-way, or freeze just as the desktop finishes coming up. But that usually happens after I've had to restart so many times. I ran chkdsk/r, it

i should have put my specs in. i have 768mb of ram, and i have a nividia gforce2 mx/mx 400 video card. as i said, i don't know that wb is causing any of this. it seemed to get worse after i installed icon packager, but i haven't tried uninstalling it yet. as far as the defrag problem, i don't know if it started before or after object desktop. for the last 2 months, every time i analyzed the drive, windows said it wasn't necessary. now that it is, it can't. by the way, the reason i'm not using th
