Just to contribute to the original topic (Do you really think I read through all of the five pages?! :) ) "Wasted resources" should be spent in the same category (social or military) on the other planets, just like Popup Target originally proposed. Thus you get the money spent for what you wanted with the least amount of micromanagement. For me, there seems to be no alternative.

Wow, Frogboy actually sleeps. This direly needs a bump!!
Awesome. This AI manages to surprise me even though I haven't played yet. I can't wait!
Sorry. Thanks to Nakor as well! ;)
Thanks for the answer, Frogboy. One more time I have to commend you on behalf of the internettically impaired. The way you are being responisive to user requests is just unique in this industry. Kudos.
The fifth gameplay example "Mirror Universe" is the first one featuring the BonusPak, including missiles. Now from the screenshots I saw I conclude that only Frogboy himself built missiles. That leads me to the question if the AI is able to employ new game features. Does the BonusPak upgrade the AI in order to let it use said features, or will this only be adressed in the major patches? Or won't the AI be upgraded at all, but you have to download AIs from the metaverse to properly employ new
A good/neutral/evil events: A colonized planet is a precursor (or some one else's) zoo world where a specialized ecosystem for hosting nearly extinct wondrous creatures is maintained by a hyper-advanced powerline system. Good: Don't touch it. Some planetary ground is lost to nature preserve. Neutral: Let's at least tap the power system and see what happens. Effect: minor industrial bonus, only negligible space lost due to shrinking populations. Bad: Out lucky day! Free industrial
Frogboy: Sorry for the confusion caused by this "cluster patch" talk. The question is: To me the original post seems to imply that you can now download each BonusPak patch as a separate file. Is this true? On the other hand, MasterMoO thinks while you can download BonusPaks separately, there will only be "patch collections", like all BonusPaks from version 1.01 to 1.1 as a single file. (If I understand him correctly.) So what's the truth? Is any one of us right?
MasterMoO: I don't know if what you wrote is true, that there'd be some "cluster patches" to download various BonusPaks at once. I can't believe that, as the first BonusPak ought to be 10 megs big. This cluster patch would be gigantic. I believe you confuse what you read about normal code patches which were supposed to be simply downloadable from the beginning opposed to BonusPaks which weren't. From what Frogboy wrote here it seems you can now download BonusPaks just like patches. But I
Do I understand this right? Have you recently changed your "download to install directory-only" policy to allowing customers to download BonusPaks in zipped files? If this is true, then THANK YOU! Frogboy, you already were my hero, but somehow you have topped yourself. :D What do you mean by "You're better off using Stardock Central if you can"? Are there any remarkable downsides to downloading the BonusPak patch?
Man, had I know there was an event thread... I also sent 95 events to MOO3 nearly a couple of years ago, but perhaps I've got some left for you. I'm glad you allow more detail in event ideas than QS. I believe about two ideas of mine made it into MOO3, but you wouldn't recognise them, being massively shortened and simplified. Here are some new ones: 1. All empires are swarmed with little drones out of nowhere. Some of them are spying , some thieving, stealing technologies, gat
Yes, you're blind. ;) You have to look further down. Last message's a day old now. Give it a bump.
Though the matter seems already settled at the moment, I wanna through in my 0.02$. I'm starting to believe that space TBS companies hate me for unknown reasons. They probably look over some form of "potential customer files", find my name, and sayt, "We have to do something in order to destroy his fun. Memo to all employees: The best proposal for annoying this Hasslmaster will gain you a salary increase." First there were Malfador Machinations (what a fitting name) with SE IV. I ordered
