I agree mostly with Lord Beefy In MOO2 I usually ended up having 3 or 4 planets producing the food to support my entire empire. I had to build a lot of transports but the gain was that almost no other planet had to waste anything on food and food buildings and that I could focus on production on miniral rich planets and research on research bonus planets. It also saved in maintenance because I didn't have to build every improvement on everyplanet. Ofcos I had a couple of switchable plan

AS long as u put stuv into espionage. Don't forget to espionage on friendly races too. If u don't you might end up getting into a war by accident becauseu didn't knew each other good enough. ~SDC~

And a good conclusion. U should try to take more worlds at the same time. This way you win a war faster and the ifluence of the war on your morale and economy aren't big. ~SDC~

I find it quite usefull. That Mr Ford is default. After a while I don't micromanage that much and then I just give mister Ford a nice list... and the planets I do micromanage I give a diffent Govourner (with an empty list). This way it's also easy for me to c which planets I micromanage and which I don't. ~SDC~

Yeah, it's something I really mis. Proposing resolutions. I believe MOO3 has it (only played it for a day or so) and it was something I really liked in Alpha Centauri. ~SDC~

You could read the guides on the GalCiv web... newayz, the first number is the production/research that u have and which actually costs money, the second number is what you get for free. So if u have 10(+4) research u pay for those 10 and u get those 4 extra for free. Also if u lower the research slider by 50% then u will get 5(+2) research. ~SDC~

The companies and people in your empire start to give lower figures to ur IRS so that they don't have to pay that much tax. It's in other words fraud. Some millionairs even go completely undercover :P Would you be willing to give 67% of your income to the gouvernment? In short it's not a bug or even strange behaviour. It is a thing the devs put in. ~SDC~

I think a little difference in GalCiv compared to Civ is that in Civ u allready know what all the techs are and which prerequests they have (u allready have the Techtree) while in GalCiv u don't. U can try to memorise them though :) But hence there is no queue posible.
