In another note. I think it would be a good idea if to the upload notification, admins would add something like- If the work you submited its deleted from the list, means that it didnt meet the guide lines of the site.Or something like that. This way there wont be so many posts about--- Why I cant see my waiting for approval work anymore?- That's

SoliD_NuTs, on the upload page at the very bottom it has a notice reading "In submitting these files for upload, I agree that they may be included by Stardock in future compilations or libraries. (for example, as extra samples included with an Object Desktop CD)." This gives permission for them to do so. Permission is the key.

PixieChick, Jafo's right. I've let him know a couple of times about inappropriate comments and they are dealt with. It's very difficult, if not impossible, to stop them from being posted in the first place but the admins will clean it up when they are notified. btw - I appreciate the comments you've left on my skins! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALI

One problem I see (not necessarily with WC) is a lot of web page coders are using IE specific tags/coding which 'breaks' other browsers. A while back Microsoft was forced by public pressure to change the coding of the MSN site because it wouldn't display properly in other browsers and gave an error. Too many of their own MSN customers couldn't get into the MSN site. I've tried a lot of the different browsers and found things I liked and disliked about all of them. I finally went back to

Let's see ... September 1973. I was just starting 12th grade. Woohoo, a Senior! I still remember seeing the first computer I had ever seen that year. Our Physics teacher had arranged for someone to bring it by school so we could see the 'new' technology. It was as big as a washing machine! And about as loud!

Brainiac, do you know where in the original flag area the single pixel would be located? I know that may not make sense but I'm wondering if, say my please wait panel is blue and has a 5 pixel black border all the way around, would I make the 1 pixel flag black or blue?

Koasati, the magic pink is not showing for me on log off or shut down. But when I changed skins using the Appearance tab of the Display Properties, I get a little thin slice of magic pink at the very top and the very bottom of the flag on the Please Wait panel. I normally don't change skins that way, because I usually change by right clicking on the WB tray icon and using the advanced dialog that comes up when you click Configure WindowBlinds. I don't get the Please Wait panel doing it like that

'God' has always been, just as the universe is endless. Infinity is incomprehensible to man. Religion is a man made device used to control other men. It was the tool of the first shaman, medicine man, whatever you want to call him. Long before there were written texts of any kind.

Tip Those undefined fonts will get you. If you leave some fonts undefined, WB seems to use the last font used (previous skin) for them. So while the font for the Toolbar Buttons, etc. may look good on your system, someone else opens the skin and gets these teeny little, barely readable fonts. Define all your fonts even if they seem to 'look ok' undefined on your machine. And, along that same line, the fonts you can't define use, I believe, Font #0, which is pret

Ahh, there's nothing like the 'imagined' anonymity of the Internet to bring out the false bravado in some people. I didn't see the thread but I can just imagine after seeing some of the earlier nitwits (UzEE and bliss come to mind)

It's Button Shadow and Button Light that affect this. To eliminate the fuzziness, set Button Light to the same color as MenuBackground and set Button Shadow to the color you want the disabled text to be. Button Shadow and Button Light are in the 3D Controls section of Colors. [Message Edited]
