Fifth does SDCentral think your game is installed at all? I ran into a problem like that when I first was downloading it. An install like the bonus pack or something had failed and messed up my registry settings so it didn't think it was installed. Does it see your game as being installed?
Exodious
Oh well. I should probably be sleeping soon instead of playing another game... but it's soo addicting =) Thanks for trying though Frogboy
Dunno what you tried a min ago Frogboy, but it's still not showing up. :/
Err, to clarify.. the first update I'm talking about is SDCentral updating itself, not GalCiv.
I re-downloaded SDCentral and installed it (didn't uninstall, just installed over), hasn't changed anything. It installed the update when I ran it, restarted SDCentral. I didn't see the update. So I did the Refresh data. No dice. One thing I should mention is that on Atlanta it says Updated 3/30/2003, and it shows the history for the update.. but it doesn't let me get to the actual update.
I had the Dragonin appear in my last game. They come in at war with everyone, and with a #^@^load of money. I was the strongest power at the time, and they agreed to peace without a single shot fired. I got something like 46000bc out of them in the deal. Isn't it technically "cheating" for them to appear with some 147000bc?? Not that I'm complaining for my last game... it financed my war =)
If I'm feeling aggressive (rather, if I've taken my game in that direction) I like to throw on some death metal. Most recently, Amon Amarth. How dare those Torians think they can resist me?! ATTACK!
I think it may have been mentioned, but I'm not sure. I noticed a bug with the Senate control and quitting. I was not in control of the senate when I saved and quit. When I loaded the game again and loaded my game, I was in control of the senate. I'm not sure if this happens if you don't quit out but load a game.
