1. Play as a good guy. 2. Sell everything you have (techs/trade goods) to the minor races... they will give you lots of money for that. Never trade techs/goods to the majors. And- most important - never give up. I lost my first two normal games... but i learned...

Just a little question: Has somebody else noticed a compatibility problem between Stardock Central and Win 98? I tried SDC now on three (!) Win 98 systems and it didn't work... Just crashes when I start loader.exe.

Hm... After applying the latest patch, I can't build Excalibur class ships any more. They show up in the military building list, but are never completed (i.e. the progress bar stops at "Next month") Anyone else noticed that?
