Nobody wants multiplayer? That's a pretty lame generalization. If we had the option for multiplayer, I'm sure we'd all only play that. About 90% of modern games feature some type of multiplayer. I think StarDock is missing out on a lot of customers because of that. Single Player is fun, but only for so long.

Mine is working fine except for the right edge of the screen. For some reason it isn't scrolling when putting the cursor on the right edge. BTW, the game is looking amazing. Love the new tech tree.

It worked! Guys, just click on "Lookup Serial Number..." in the "Settings" and you should receive your new, fixed serial for GC2. It took me about 6 hours to download 38MB...now I must download the Multimedia package which is 57MB...talk to you guys tomorrow.

I might have fixed mine. I just went to Setting and clicked on "Lookup Serial Number...". I then received an email with my account information and my serial numbers for GalCiv I and II. Surprisinhly, my GalCiv II serial had changed. I pasted the new serial in and it registered fine. Now I am downloading the update and hoping that it will work...don't know why it should. I will post the outcome. I'm in Namibia at the moment so it is taking forever. I

Scrolling problem in 0.12[b].002 in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I don't know if any of you are having this problem, but when I go to the edges of the screen, it'll scroll normally, except when going to the right edge of the screen. It used to not work properly before because I had "extended desktop" on. But now, it's not working, even thought I turned it off. Any of you know the solution to this problem?

Well, I am wondering if there is RSS feeds for this message board. I am trying to setup my PDA to download RSS feeds from all forums I frequent and was wondering if there is a possibility of perhaps integrating it to this site.

Honestly, this is a really good BETA considering it just started. I have BETA'd many games from World of Worcraft to Guild Wars and none has been so responsive and as interactive as this one. Stardock rox!

We're about one-week away from the first BETA. It's going to mainly be about figuring out what % of systems currently out there blow up on loading it (don't worry, we don't really mean blow up, it's more of an explosion type scenario ). First of all, when did u pre-order? The BETA was only available for those who pre-ordered before the second day of BETA, which was on the 25th of March. If you pre-ordered after, you will have to way for the Second stage of BETA to begin testing. If you did pre-order prior or in that date, then contact support and they can help you...I had 2 emails registered with my account and merging it solved the problem.

Yeah, I am using extended monitor and it actually works fine. However, edge scrolling can get annoying as you have to stop in the edge and not let the mouse go over.
