Take knatzz good idea a step farther-before you reinstall go to your windows folder and then the folder call "prefetch". Open it,select all and delete everything(not the folder itself-just everything in it). Reboot and then reinstall wb"s. This might help.
There is a sysmetrix skin that is just the longhorn clock I beleive-give a search in that library-should yeild results

Just a thought-Yes frogboy those costs are astronomical and pretty hard to work around-so how about a compromise of sorts? Someone said awhile back that if something got rated a 1 then they would need several 9"s to offset-how about a system where you don"t count the highs or the lows but everything in the middle,that way you could keep the current system basically intact but offset the folks that either rate low or high for unneccasary reasons. Just a thought ,what do you think?

ChasUGC and hashonboat-I strongly agree with both of you and ChasUGC like yourself what little work I had here I moved. For whatever reasons the site seems to take pride in running off artists. Don"t know if you guys seen the thread were there is serious discussion to remove the wallpaper section but wouldn"t that be like McDonalds decideing not to use buns?
Maybe stardock should create a wallpaper designing type utility-then a wallpaper section wouldn"t be such a burden

You guys crack me up-yesterday7-19-2003 am here on the east coast 2049 downloads.Today,7-20-2003 pm east coast 2058 downloads-as a matter of fact no desktops theme in the first 20 or so had fewer downloads.I decided to download myself to make sure it was working-I beleive you can download once yourself and count against your total.After downloading and refreshing the page the same! Called my brother who lives in another city in the same state and asked him to download(he hadn"t downloaded before

I used to be registered under my name bedneyshields and before that I came without being registered at all-still here just the same.
I"ve said numberous times on other sites-If one person downloads a theme-then that theme was worth making.Why should the general public not be allowed to download all available themes?Because someone gives another an unflaterring approval rating. Some of my most downloaded themes got unfavorable ratings at other sites-doesn"t mean a thing.The only rating that counts is that somebody downloaded and is happy with what they got!!!
I must say I appreciate the kind and level headed comments but just who makes the ratings and where do you see them? As has been already stated-I"ve been coming to this site a very long time and the thing I have a hard time swallowing is what do ratings really accomplish.If people download your work-isn"t that rating enough?I do this for a hobby(no cash!!!!).Don"t kid yourself 150 downloads a day mean more to desktopx themes than they do to windowblinds. Its with great pain that I must say good-bye. My troubles all started about a week ago when I summited a theme called "XP-X".I received an e_mail from jafo telling me it was rejected because it was a copy of boxxi"s gridscape. Knowing it was not-I resimitted and received the same e-mail.. I then resummited with a editors note that everything in said theme was made from scratch to the best of my knowledge and it was summited. Since that time my download numbers have steadaly declined. Yeah I noticed I picked up 2 downloads shortly after posting-seem kinda odd though only 1 today and only 10 or so since yesterday when you consider the total of downloads of this theme compared to others summited at the same time and where their at now-seems a little odd?
